Just bought this phone in Taiwan. It's really excellent and works very well. The sound quality is surprisingly good, actually I'd venture to say it beats my iPod by a fair margin. The screen is the best I've seen on any phone, and I've seen quite a few, including those by NEC and sharp. The organiser is fantastic and the speed and processor allows multitaking quite well.

the availability may extend by one or two weeks as is the case with launch of new phones but i am not 100% sure about the price but there wont be much difference from the expected price. lets keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best.

after buying this phone i will surely give my opinions about it.
just to be offtopic i want to tell that along with rokr e2 , motorola is also releasing a1200 and v3i gold.

Hi Sijusid,
All dealers give different information on expected date of release and expected price. Do send me your review and experience about 15 days after you buy this phone. I will be waiting for about a month after its release so that I can buy a 1 gig SD card in the price difference, hopefully -:) My mail id is awakeandalive@hotmail.com

i am not sure about the english version available in china. fayte said that he has a phone which is unbranded and unlocked and has all the features mentioned in the review(just see the post by fayte on 11 of this month ). one of my friend had went to china and i had told him to get it for me but after knowing that it is branded and also i was not sure about the english version , i told him not to bring it. moreover i got the news about its launch in india next week. so i will buy it here.
it will be surely cheaper in china (about 4000 to 5000 Rs cheaper).
now its your choice to get it from china or india.
the branded mobile which comes in china is missing with spatial audio abd bass boost settings and also fewer equalizer setting. moreover there is only one theme present.

6-8 months down the road Sony K800 will get cheaper and there is no reason to own this phone anymore in terms of design and fuctions.

no I`m from Bangladesh, as it'll come late here, so I may collect it from India or China, that's why i was not sure. But can u tell me, that the English edition available in China, is it fully featured as reviewed, or it's like the Chinese brand.

the phone released in china is not illegal.
there are two variants available. one is the chinese version which is branded with china mobile and other is the english version which is not branded with any mobile company.
@darklord.
are u an indian. cause i dont know a single GSM phone which is branded with any mobile except some cheap mobile whose cost is less than 2000.i will be happy if u or anybody else can throw some light on this.

you r welcome. i know many indians are badly waiting for this phone to be released. but the only dampning point is its price which is a bit high. i had expected its price close to Rs 16000. anyway i am going to get this phone soon after its release.

Hi to all, yeah, I`m sure you all waited a long just like me, and if moto fails to deliver it time, then it'll be a bad thing. Well I have few more question to rokrberry or any one who can answer,
1. Does it suuport video call (meaning playing video for an incoming call like nokia)?
2. How is it's MP3 player?
3. Will it come as a branded phone in India?

Why is it a joke? Considering the fact that we're in the month of July and this phone has not been launched in Asia.
If it's launch in August-December in Asia Pacifc then it'll be 2007 in Europe and USA

for all indian rokr e2 fans it will be available for sale from 1st week of august. package includes 512mb card and data cable. but it will be available at Rs17000 to Rs19000

Hye Haider r u sure that it'll b released on 7 sep. in pakistan, frm where did u got that info man. Mobile zone r really gona bring this fone, what abt united mobiles man, i hav heard that united r sellin fones 4 cheaper prices than mobile zone.

This phone will be released in US and Europe Q1 of 2007. And Q4 in Asia Pacific.
Moto is late as usual, just can't trust their announcement

there is an good news and bad news for all rokr e2 fans in india.
first the bad news.....
the expected price of rokr e2 is Rs 17000 to Rs 19000. (personally i think its bit high when in china its available for Rs 14000)
now for the good news....
rokr e2 is going to launch in india on 27 of this month. so max by first week of august our wait for rokr e2 would be over. (the standard package includes 512 mb card with data cable along with the handset which is not available in china).
now i am a person who has waited for this mobile from february and i am defenitely going to buy this mobile in its first week of launch inspite of it being a bit expensive.
