is the rokr e2 going to be like another E1120? announced but never released? when motorola manage to make a wonderful phone it seems to hav so many difficulties to be released!!!!

This handset is really cool, it has quite a lot of features enable in this phone. I have a friend who has it and I would recommend it to anyone.

the fone will be released on 7 sept in pakistan by mobile zone
but in asian market it will arrive on the last week of august
and in america this fonme will available after release in asia because the moto fones are 1st released in asia and europe and then affrica (middle east) and sum other countries.. and thenm in america.............................. may be u will have to wait for 2 weeks

I do not understand what's that fight against iTunes. We have modded iTunes versions with integrated database updaters, ishell, sms alarm, media viewer, SKINS MANAGER (for iTunes) and system file manager integrated... Check here http://www.e398mod.com/content/view/293/62/

thanks for your information. so it means u have bought it from china which is an english and unbranded version. one of my friend has went to china and will be returning in a week. now i am really interested in getting it from him.

I do not live in china but there will be an english and chinese version and also a branded and non branded version. And i use the english non-branded version.
PS: It is a great phone much better then Rokr E1 or E398 it is much faster.

are u also from china and if yes is ur mobile branded with china mobile.
also u mean to say that there are two versions of rokre2 available. one is chinese version branded with cina mobile and another is english version which is not branded with any mobile. what about your hanset. is it chinese version or english version and is it branded.

ok look the spatial audio and bass boost are not missing from this phone. the inscribed language on the keypad will depend if the vendor is either buy the china version or the english version. as for the sound quality it is the best in its type. and as for equalizer i remember it being 10 band (or some number being higher than 5 maybe 8).

i think these things like Wma support and advanced equalizer settings are simply locked by chinese operator. thats one E2 on mobile-review has this settings.
rokrberry i read it can play mp3 about 10 hours via a2dp.. is it true? i also cannot realize if it produse better sound with any 3.5mm-plug earphones or with a2dp h/s..?

can you please confirm whether the spatial audio and bass boost option is missing in rokr. also is the language inscribed in keypad english or chinese. is rokr still branded with china mobile or other version is also possible. what is your opinion about its sound quality in comparison with walkman phones.

ok look i have at the review of this phone.
it does have stereo, but aren't as good as E398 but are the best in it type.
the Dimensions are some wut wrong then width of the phone is not 50mm but only 46mm.
the battery is the best in its kind it was taken walkin through the city and lasted for 224 hours while Nokia 3250 last 10.5 hours, but while in flight mode rokr e2 last 27 hours while nokia 3250 only 12 hours
They LCD display of the Rokr e2 is made by sharp

@Nick, no 3d sound. not sure if the speakers are stereo but they sound ok, E398 speakers are better though.
china version has no itunes.
@ximuoi, i tried loading a WMA file, it was recognized as a music file but would not play. not sure which WMA encoding is ok for the phone.
@dalai lama, can't comment on battery life yet, i wasn't keeping track, and i always play music via a2dp/stereo bt headset so battery consumption is higher.

i'd prefer 2nd variant with moto player which already works..
itunes is just a waste of money and time (like it was on E1).. if this crap will be present in that phone, it will cost 100$ more!
DO NOT PUT "itunes" INTO THIS PHONE, MOTO!
rokrberry, your e2 still works nice? havent you tested how many hours it works when only listenin to music (primarily fully charged)?

Yes, it can play WMA. but its still not released yet. i hope its fate wont be like the E1120

i know what are the functional problems with e2 rokr
apple itune is not compltely compatible with linux based OS as its prepared in linux format but it donot works with the buttons presnt on phone (Musik keys)
there are 3 media players in fone
1: that of moto
2: specially designed by moto ... which allows bluetooth control too.and music buttons work with that only.
3:iTune
motorola has agreement with apple and now moto has prepared its own media player too
this is simply due to blue tooth control an now moto donot want iTunes as it is not like moto's own media player
now there remain 2 facts
* This product will be cancelled
* or this product will be released with other name...
otherwise moto will have to cancel the moto mediaplayer control with phones side music keys and link them with iTunes
thats all.
