i have had this phone for 3 months and i have no trouble with it at all, it is also reliable. Pity it doesn't come with bluetooth capability.

I've had 4 of the same phone and Cingular keeps replacing them because my screen will turn completely black for no reason. Sometimes it won't charge. I don't recommend it. I am getting a different one in 5 days!

I used one of these for maybe 4 months and all I can say is that its a great phone! The one that I have is an older AT&T phone that I unlocked and used with cingular. It has been very durable; I tend to drop things alot. My only 2 complaints are: camera doesn't work all the time (probably due to my abuse), and the signal reception isn't the greatest... but not too bad.

i had this fone 4 about a month when it started playing up, it wouldn't let me in the personalise menu, and i somehow deleted my games, there was some fluff or something in the outside screen. it scratches easy. you can only have around 60 messages, and 100 photos, but the camera sucks. no infrared. the good thing is you can program (one by one) your contacts to sim or phone, if they are on fone, you can have a pic of the person, but only comes up if set to push answer or any button to answer (instead of just opening it)and the outside screen lets you know who is calling, or if you have a msg. you can program contacts stored in phone to voice dial. the outside buttons let you change between loud, soft, silent, vibrate, vibrate then ring. didn't like how the vibrator sucks. you can change so msg vibrate and calls ring. and if u miss a msg, it can be set so it vibrate or beep or none till u realise. lately my camera stopped working. messaging is easy but can be annoying. overall i hate my fone because it has botchy software, and failed to work fully. also the manual sucks, it has like zilch info in it, and you have to go online if there is a problem, so u can get some numbers to call. thats about it i guess. i thought it was a sucky investment. however i may be unlucky, coz some reviews sound ok.

I've been using this phone temporarily and all I can say is that it's pretty good!
It has an awful camera, but the rest is pretty ok. a good 3/5. wayyyyy to little memory, i just have one cutted mp3 on it :)

Just to say i have had this phone for a year and not had any problems with it! even after my friends dog got hold and chewed it, it still works!!

Ok i've had this phone since July 25th last year, and so far it messed up 3 times. and the guarantee is for 2 years. so one more time it breaks i get ma money back! the camera had a problem before, but it was always a different reason. once it was cuz the screen on the front just pertended it was opening and closing so if someone would call me it would end the call before i TOUCH the phone.. well its just really messed up and annoying. first i was in love with it cuz i had a sucky siemens but now i dont like this phone. i want Nokia 6101 cuz it has everything a good phone needs (for me): Infrered, flip phone, CAMERA, screen on front, and thats about it. OH and its not that expensive!!! its $220 american!!

My V220 just went to dead screen yesterday. This phone is a lemon waiting to happen. I cannot recommend it based on my experience.

built to last me ass!!! :D Nokia has a very nice enviroment and thats what they have above motorola, motorola WAS built to last, in fact they were the ones that you would buy if you wanted a phone that could stand anything. Personally if i wanted to buy a phone that lasts I would buy either Sony Ericsson or Samsung.. but like i said, thats my personal opinion these days and i've had 1x Motorola, several Nokias' and Im using a Sony Ericsson now :)

Hmmm, i will tell anyone not to buy this fone, buy a nokia, they are built to last.First the centre button fell out, then the screen cracked n i had to replace it and then the internal speaker stopped working, trust me, if u want to throw away ur money u can buy this junk!!

i got dis phone a year ago and it woz really gd but after a while the camera was playin up n all my buttons were comin off. But still it iz a good phone. I have a samsung E350 now its better thsn the motorola v220

this fone is pretty average, its pretty good features and stuff, can transfer and make ur own sounds for ringtones is a plus,but after a while the camera dosn't work and its like dead when ur speaking u have to have it on speaker most of the time,the games faulter too.

I like this phone... simple... small...the functions of camera and melodies are expansive...and high quality.
But I don´t like of memory that. 1,8 mb is very small.

its good only for about 6 months but once there, please sell it because you gonna have endless problems. everything starts gettin broken, 1st the camera stops workin, then the screen go's blank and the phone keeps goin off.

i think the phone is brilliant i have not had any problems with it yet but the camera is a bit fuzzy i have seen others that are perfect it is very easy to usethe screen is very small and there is not a lot of memory and it would be much better withbluetoth or even infared 7.5 out of 10

hmm.. i wanted to get this phone.. but on the other hand i decided not to.. i'll tell u well.. even though i dun own this phone.. i saw.. it.. the camera sucks.. it's too blur...and the antena just looks too stumpy and nerdy.. sorry to those ppl who like/owned this phone.. i know the features are ok.. but from my point of view.. the antena as i said again looks really bad....
