I bought this phone just before christmas. The problems i have had with it are:
constant crashing when typing a text message.
Bluetooth now doesnt work.
A pin that connects to the battery has stuck in so for about 3 days i got 'invalid battery' on the screen then it died.
Now I have to take it to be repaired, and after only having it for just under 2 months im not very happy. I usually buy sony ericsson's or nokia's and i think that in 10 months time i will go back!!!!

Does anybody know if what one can put into the contacts? So can you input home address etc into it, which was not possible for the V3? Is there a limit on the number of contacts, can it be expanded by a bigger flash memory card?

Hi,
I'm looking at getting this phone. Im in Australia and looking at the 3 network. I have a Motorola V975 on 3 already. I was wondering. Can you apply home icons? And can you change the left and right softkey shortcuts? To say for instance: Tones and Messages? Thanks for your help,
Mitchi

To permoulos:
V3x is using same battery as L7, but diff with V3i. (I'm not sure of V3, but I believe V3 is same as V3i) However, V3x, V3i & L7 all are using same charger.

Had the phone for nearly 2 months now. Loved it. - At first. Now i fricken hate it.
my likes:
Its nice and fast. and great colours and camera.
My dislikes:
Battery sucks. Dies after one day - with not much warning. Sends an empty txt messages. My alarm doesnt go off all the time. And the call button and video button keep stops working a lot. and then comes back!?!?!? Plus there is this weird thing with phone book entries. - Sometimes it doesnt like new entries and wont let me edit it or call the person. So i have to redo the whole thing again?!?!?! - whats that about? ANd doesnt link up with my mac. + plastic feel
Conclusion:
Should have gone for Samsung. Am disapointed in Motorola (specially as this i've stuck with them for so long)

To the guy asking how to copy sim card number to the phone. Go to the phonebook. Select View->SIM Card. Then select Select Multiple to->Copy to phone. All Done.
I've had the V3x for a couple of weeks now. I prefer it to my old V3, my only moans are the battery life and the absolutely useless Digital Audio Player. Why does it list all my tracks twice????
Oh and if anyone bemoans the lack of an HTML browser, I've started using Opera Mini. It does the job perfectly.

Hi,I have the phone for 2 weeks now. This is an excelent phone!! No bugs for me,no problem with the phone book. I bought it from ebay on 3 network and unlocked it at my country. Battery lasts me for 1.5-2 days but i mess with it all the time!
Just one question. Is the battery the same as V3 and V3i? I'm thinking of purchasing one for backup but i have to be sure
Thanks

Quick question, does this phone require a normal USB cable, or is it some proprietary thing? Not getting any response from my PC
