The biggest difference between V3x and V3i is the UMTS in x model.

    Oi... why so many lame moany muthaF's up in this piece?

    To transfer pictures to ur PC or vice versa just load up ur MPT 4.0 that came with the phone... if u aint got it then buy it.

    Once opened u would see ur phones Pictures folder and ur PC's "My Pictures" Folder... and some others... click on the "My Pictures" Tab just to ensure ur pictures are transfered there. Now select the pictures u want from the phones Picture folder and click on the "Phone to PC" tab or "PC to Phone" depending on what u wanna do.

    Now ask urself this... HOW EASY WAS THAT???

    Tired of reading all ur moans... get a life or return the phone.

      i bought this phone not long ago, it is probably one of the best phones on the market, the on disadvantage is that it only has a very shor battery life, motorola has overstated it in the stats the gain more interest but i have to charge it nearly everyday

            I don't know how HAVING the phone and KNOWING ITS bugged makes me DOPEY.

            It didn't cost me anything either.

            But MR CLEVER - how do you get pics of the phone? Come on. If you're SO smart. . .

            Put up or shutup!

              i have one question about this fone :

              can u disconnect an incoming call without opening the flap with the help of any buttons on the outside or not ?

              cuz this cant be done in moto razr.

                Guy's,

                This phone is great.

                To solve the bug problem... go thru all contacts and not the ones that kick you back to the homescreen;

                Delete them from your outlook or MPT address book;

                Start sync and select option that deletes all phonebook entries... then check phone and ensure all are deleted... if not delete the remainder manually;

                Now sync with outlook or MPT again and the prob should be solved... test your namedial function to check this... if it works then you're sorted.

                *remember to avoid using the outlook fields such as "other" etc... that are not in the V3x phonebook as it will not recognize it and thats partly what causes the software to get corrupt.

                *also ensure that even if u have a contact that has 3 cellphone numbers... do not store all of them in outlook using the cellphone icon for all.. use Home, office etc... as long as the phone also has it... this will avoid you having the contact in 3 separate fields.

                Peace guys... enjoy the phone cos it really does rock... the only reason why most are so mad when it does not is cos they like the phone so much that they really want it to work.

                    Well. A bad battery - not being able to see who called/missed calls and not being able to access all your contacts all the time??

                    It looks good. But it's like a car without a gear box.

                    Getting your GOOD photos of the phone is also seemingly impossible.

                    BUYER BEWARE!!

                            DON'T BUY!

                            This phone is so bugged.
                            No support from MOTO (UK anyway)
                            Unable to use CONTACTS/LAST CALL etc (Bugs)
                            Unable to get photos (Very good) onto Computer.
                            Battery is appauling (as expected)
                            Lights on hamdset/keys & screen have started to fail.
                            Battery cover is very cheap and feels like it will snap at anytime.

                            Looks good. With more support this COULD have been such a great phone. MOTO are all mouth and no trousers!

                            This is a step from V3 up and in the right direction. V3i is better than V3 if you read the blurb.

                            V3x needs an overhaul.

                            Sorry to say it's not worth getting.

                            MOTO could learn from SE and NOKIA. Silly them! I can BUY the software to download my pics. BUY??? It should be FREE!

                            MOTO NIGHTMARE!!

                            And Vodafone still suck! :)

                                Got mine 2 days ago and not really sure??Well here goes:
                                1. The battery cover very creaky especially when texting.
                                2.No option to remove icons on home screen although user guide says this can be done
                                3. No emoctions to insert when sending a text message
                                4.Crashed and crackled a few times
                                5.Only a few skin choices

                                I waited for this for ages and am disappointed with the plastic feel. My husband wants a new phone and I was going to get him this but not sure now. I think i will send mine back. can anyone help on these problems as orange dont seem to know how to rectify,I am still waiting for their tech support to call me

                                  Fantastic phone - got it from Orange (UK) this week - blue rubber coating - fab!!

                                  Does anyone know if I can use the "themes" available on some sites that are listed as being created for the RAZR V3, whether they work with the V3x - i.e.- is it the same operating system??

                                      What's the Motorola V3x battery life like between charges? I recently brought a Nokia 6280 and can only get 1 day use out of it before having to recharge the battery. I'm considering changing to the V3x.
