to all. v3x is the best out the the 'v' collections, [includs v3 n v3i ...] . basicly v3=v3i or all othr verions of v3, but v3x is 3G n is the only 2megapixel 'v' fone, n obviously the fact dat it support t-fsh memory is gr8

The battery life seems to running on a day charge for me, typical of 3g phones to be honest, I could also be to blame as I didnt charge it for the 12 hour "theory" recommended time but it so far seems to be ok. Having never used a MOTO I was quite impressed you can charge it via the usb cable which is a plus point when travelling one less plug to bother about.

I am still gryping about the Bluetooth and have now contacted Motorola via email so I will await there reply.

whats the battery life like on this motorola. i have had bad experiaces with motorola battery charge life in the past. such as having to charge it every day unlike my nokia or samsung which last 3days until i have to charge it.

this has probably been asked b4 but i need to know before i waste my time and money with this mobile....

With respect to your BT comments below can you tell us the following:

1.) Were you able to pair the V3x with the Mac?
2.) Were you able to pair the V3x with the PC?
3.) Are you using Mobile Phone Tools?
                      End Quote"

1)Yes I was able to pair the V3x with the Mac and thats about it, it will add the phone to the favourite list but thats about it. No services available.

2)Same as above for the PC able to pair and thats where it ends after that I am unable to transfer anything from the pc to phone.

3)I have not used Mobile Phone tools yet as I am guessing that is a pc app and I dont really use my pc much, but might give it a try later this eveing.

Just spent 30 minutes with V3x in 3 shop in South Ken, London. [+] a) Looks lovely when closed. b) Screen bright. c) Can alter ring mode while closed (IE, Ring only, Vib only, Ring/Vib). d) Fast menus. e) Nice backlit keypad effect, like V3. [-] a) Cannot zoom in and out of camera images unlike on K750i, restricted to 50%, 75%, 100% and full size. b) Calendar not as well thought out as SE or Nokia. c) No intelligence or common sense in the menu structure or operation, unlike SE. d) No demo videos or tunes to try out MP3 player etc. SOLUTION: Moto need to really focus on their software and OS. Their hardware is fine and this phone is really suited to the flashy consumer, but not for business. I will now consider the Nokia N70 or wait for the SE P990, which I wish was here now as it's the ultimate. PREDICTION: Poeple will buy the new V3i instead of V3x as it's still slim, but has 1.3Meg camera.
