i lost the application in my phone( NEC e616)... can any body tell me how to fix it? what and where to download these applications (messege memory) and how to transfer it to phone . and how to make it work again.???

can someone please tell me how to activate bluetooth, i can see my phone name when i want to download something on bluetooth, it says connecting, and then after 5 sec's, connection lost, am i doing something wrong

personally, i believe the designers of the NEC616 made some grave errors with regards to the battery life. i own one and i am always scared to take it out..........because it powers out before the end of the day ! that is so frustrating and annoying.

Can anyone tell me how to unlock the NEC e616, my mum has got it on three network on a monthly contract which is up at the end of the month and she is not renewing her contract and is going to be left with a phone she cant use unless it can be unlocked. Please help.

its not fair!! why cant i activate bluetooth on my fone from the pc? i asked by sending my comments ages ago, but nothing is happening.i wish i didnt buy this fone, that is just loosing my money,i wish i bought sony ericson, cause there is noting important i have done with this fone, please someone tell me, did i just waste my money by buying this NEC e616v? i dont understand, i bet when you are selling these fone you got to be giving more information. not just a disc, its useless. i hope you gonna do something about it. thank you.

just got my sons e616v unlocked he uses orange sim, but it wont let him receive text messages any idea ???

i have this fone e616v and its really good butttt my problem is how do you connect your bluetooth from the pc. i have no idea what to do with it. ihave read the disc but i dont get it. CAN YOU TELL ME HOW TO ACTIVATE IT PLEASE

my son has one and ive tryed to change the apn so he can surf using gprs but as i go to edit the settings it asks for the handset code is this a standerd code for all handsets or uniqe for each if anyone knows how to sort this plz let me know ty

I have had this phone for 12 months. I did have constant problems with text messages "dissapearing" but I easily solved that problem by claering all text messages before the content reached 100.
Occassionally I have had the phone's screen go blank although no major problem encoured.
Bluetooth can NOT be used for sending files, music etc it can only be used to connect a headset - yes slightly misleading.
Battery, especially extended is slightly bulky usually giving me, a medium/high user 24-36hrs. Normal slim line battery 16-24hrs. Not much use.
Screen and camera quality is excellent 9/10 but for some reason usually in dim area's even with the camera light on the picture is fuzzy. But I bought a phone not a camera so I would say this was acceptable.
The phone is extremely robust, I have dropped it a trillion times and it has never failed.
Qulity of call's is exceptional - to be fair a few dropped calls but nothing out of the ordinary.
Callendar, Calc, Convertor, Block anon calls, ignore specific numbers, picture phone book, etc etc. Although no Infa-red! Shame!
The features of this phone is endless, for the current price of about £30-£50 I would say it was a bargain. I am finding it hard to give up my NEC but I have been offered an upgrade to an A1000.
I recomend any one buying this mobile, you will wonder how you survived without it! I certainly did!

Can anyone tell me why the volume is so low on my NECe616v mobile...especially when i play MP3's also can i buy anywhere a pair of hearphones for this phone ?

Unreliable and bulky phone... reboots randomly while sending texts... the addition to the battery makes it even bulkier. Can't send anything via bluetooth. Can't synchronise with Notes. In brief, I hate it. It does'nt provide what I would expect from a decent phone. Can't wait to cancel my contract.

the phone is cool, but the bluetooth can't send and recieve from other phones, why?

I got one of these in the UK on 3, just before Christmas. I liked the 3 content, news, clips, etc. but the phone is useless for making calls: the network drops, you frequently get cut off even if the signal strength is full bars, etc.
Just switched to an sony k700i on Orange - better phone, more memory (no memory sticks, though) and the Orange content is far better.
Also the NEC has Bluetooth but I struggled to make it work. I downloaded mp3s onto the Sony via Bluetooth without looking at the manual and it all worked first time.

I have just bought this phone, i like it,but the battery life i dont understand, because when i charge it and it finishes charging by coming up with the ble light, after been on a conversation for about 10mins, it starts beeping battery low and before i know it, it switches off, can you please advise if its a general fault/problem or the particular one i have.
