good phone received it today. everything working open to all networks. havent managed to get onto the internet yet, says no connection

ive brought one i unlock is but it keeps saing connot connect to tzone and the screen just go blank i have to switch it off and on ever time some times it cut out and says put pin code the shop that done it says i must and it is not good cause you would be waiting for bisness calls and no body can get true to u

I got nec e616v from a friend as a gift, but could not play any game.I believe that there are games stored in it.I am in Nigeria. Also,Nec products are nice,but they are not common in my country.

iam from srilanka recently i have a nec phone iam using a 2g mode usim card it cant detect any bluetooth device & also cant connect with gprs cant sent any thing (exception sms) from any other phones what am i do pls any one help me

Hey, i really need help.. im stuck between the e616v and the c975 (motorola) they both look good fones but can sum1 actually giv me real opinion.. not jus its crap dont buy it. cheers

i got one of these as a present its rubbish for one reason its far too big and the sound quality is rubbish too nec need to sort this out soon

Hi,
i have nec e616 with me in pakistan, the problem i'am facing is tht i'am not able to connect it with other bluetooth devices and transfer data etc. my device gets paired but the other device e.g nokia does not send any data to my piece. kindly guide me in this matter.

I have an NEC616v which I bought on Ebay already unlocked and I am using an 02 sim card. I am able to transfer my address book to PC via USB cable but cannot transfer video clips or pictures to PC from handset. Handset will not connect even using NEC CD Rom.Do I need additional Software to enable me to do this??I also am experiencing problems with incoming calls at times where caller can hear me but I cannot hear them. Can anyone help please most grateful for all advice. Thankyou Harry

Hi. I am using NEC e616v in Pakistan, which doesnt have 3G networks.How can I use the internet from here?. Is there a way by which i can insert a new web browser in it. Because the one it already has doesnt show me how to enter the DNS,port,gateway and other settings with which i can set it according to the UFONE network of pakistan. Please help!

I will like to know the difference between Nec c616v and Nece616v.am using Nec c616v while my friend is using Nec e616v.and i told him Nec c616v is the latest version after Nec e616v.but he could not believe.

i have also an mp3 player on mine it is so cool i plugged the wire through my computer 2 my fone u have 2 put the software cd in first.

Model: NEC E616
NEC Temporary Unlock:
Put a 2G Simcard and turn ON the phone.
#4960*xxxxxxxx#
*4960*xxxxxxxx*xxxxxxxx#
Turn OFF and ON again.
xxxxxxxx = any numbers
Remember the xxxxxxxx you used. You will need to use same code in the furure.
Attention:
- This unlock method ONLY works with one Simcard. If you change to another Simcard, you will have to unlock again!
- This method depends on the firmware version. If didn't work only a cable soluction can help you.
