I have read most of the comments. Can anyone from Australia who has had the NCE e616 successfully unlocked tell me if it is worth buying. I have the chance to buy an unlocked phone from within Australia.

i have an nec c616v phone and had it unlocked and now using o2 sim cant set up settings for receiving messages

Nice set--i mean really nice-camera\video mode very clear -best resolution i have seen so far-but how can i get more ringtones,and also how do i download games to the fone ?

I have got my NEC e616V unlocked in Delhi.

does ne one no how to get wap on this fone .i dont use a 3 sim .i rang optus they say they cant activate wap cause they dont have the settings 4 the fone .i ring 3 they say they cant do ne thing and to ring optus .help!!

heres a tip to make your video recording longer goto into the recorder and press the options button then change it to long video u can now recored good quality 4 24 secs

what do u do when u unlock ur nec fone, that is it recognises the sim card for another network but u still can't make calls or get any reception.. someone pls advice

I have the NEC e616, I am a business man who travels. My advice is not to buy it or anything from 3. The phone is crap the service is crap, the network is crap. And it will cost you to get out of your contract, I have been tempted to put my lawyer on to 3, out of principle but it just isn't worth the time and effort. This is the worst phone and service I have had and i bought my first moblie in 1987.
