I must say that the people who slag this phone off either don't have the patience or were unlucky in their purchase.
I recently received my e616, and haven't had one, not one problem with it whatsoever.
I've managed to compress and put 10 mp3s on the 16mb memory stick, as well as around 20 minutes of high quality videos from Little Britain on the phone itself.
for 45 quid, this little piece of machinery is a bargain.
I will list the negative points I have found below:
-No active flip - have to press button to answer calls
-Bluetooth only compatible with headsets
-No mp3 ringtones
-Several clicks to silent or louspeaker mode
Other than that, and they are only minor gripes, this phone as absolutely superb value for money. Nothing has gone wrong, and won't go wrong either (touch wood). I highly recommend this phone for anyone who wants a great value package with a decent phone, which perhaps works out better value unlocked to other networks than on 3. This is what I'm planning to do.
In summary, this is a great phone, highly recommended to all!
P.S. Anyone know anywhere OTHER than Nottingham for getting the phone unlocked?

For those with questions regarding unlocking.
I can tell you that I bought this phone for my son and had it unlocked at a place up in Nottingham.
It now works on all the 2G sims we have tried. Orange, Vodaphone and O2.
Naturally, ALL the services don’t work – you’ve got to have a 3G sim to get the hi speed, broad bandwidth stuff (streaming video etc.) But you do have a sturdy, useful mobile.
If you have your sim card service provider enable GPRS and MMS on your sim you can do e-mail, wap and web browsing etc.
The guy in Nottingham charges 10 pounds to unlock it if you take it to his shop. 18 Pounds to do it by special delivery parcel postage.
The place is called netunlocking (google UK and you'll find him)
