No please I implore any potential future buyers, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PHONE! I've had problems with mine from day one. Now it won't even start (its 6 months old!) and 3 will not replace it, they won't even replace it when you have problems the minute you walk out of the shop! I have 2 other friends whoose phones are constantly being "repaired" to stuff up again the minute they are home. I should have known when a guy bought his back to the shop while I was buying mine! Stay away from this phone, believe me the gimmicks aren't worth it!
As for 3 in Australia, yes the 3 plans are cheap but now that vodaphone and optus are offering the $79 plans as well I'd be sticking with them. 3 calls constantly drop out and u end up using all your free $ in flag falls when you have to ring the same person 4 times to have a 5 minute conversation, and as for their flagfall waiver if you dial back within 15 secs...well who has been able to get the phone to work within 15 secs after its disconnected you! Don't buy this phone and don't connect to 3!!

Anyone on line at present that owns an NECe616? - what do you think? ARGOS are selling them for £44.99 for pay as you go on '3'. On paper itlooks a bargain. But have read some bad reviews about them. The main problem seems to be the MP3 player. I have reserved one and will probably buy it tommorow. Am I doing the right thing? Can I unlock it and put my Vodaphone sim in it. Please help with advice. Glyn
