Man this phone is a piece of garbage, the battery sucks, the features suck everything about it sucks! I read some good and bad things about it, mostly good and when I bought it… man, I was very disappointed, a few days later I took it back to the shop and exchanged it for a different one. If you wanna buy it for its looks then go ahead and buy it, but if u wanna good phone stick with nokia or samsung

Just a question about the L1.... i'm thinking of buying it because it's a hot phone, but what does the USB do? and with the MP3s, the phone doesn't have speakerhone, does that mean they can't play out aloud? Also, what does Blue tooth allow you to do? Thanks!!

1)what does the USB do?
ans. USB enables you to transfer/upload files,pictures,movies form your phone to your PC (viceversa ).

ans. NO. you can still play MP3s out loud just set the volume to your desired loudness,it has 9 lvls. of volume, by the way speakerphones are not used for playing MP3's its for calling/communication purposes.
3)Also, what does Blue tooth allow you to do?
ans. Bluetooth does the same as USB, the only difference is your sending files via wireless connection.

please be specific in your problems why you said what you said...there is no good in venting out your anger to the phone if you can't defined clearly what upsets you.
and yes you have made your point, got your other phone etc...you could help a lot of people by being specific and wanting to have the problem fixed other than making tantrums.

qwerty use the up/down left/right buttons with the camera. if you set the resolution to maximum there is no zoom

I now have a NEC 412i and a NEC L1. I would like to load the L1 software onto the 412i as my provider doesn't support i-mode.
Can someone advise me how to do this?

try http://www.miditext.ru/midi/d.html for free ringtones. Transfer via bluetooth. easy

i have the nec n412i and yes it will connect and print directly to a printer, but I cannot for the life of me, work out how to connect directly to my computer. No instructions in the manual and I cannot find anything online. Does this mean it cannot be done or am I missing something? Thanks to anyone who can enlighten me.. Michael

Amelia, i disagree... the phone is brilliant. It's better looking than the v3, and its thinner. It looks more professional... but i guess its all down to taste. So, Chris, if you do not like the look of the NEC and you prefer the V3... my advice would be to purchase the V3. I bought this phone because i loved the look of it, and i'm everything but dissapointed in it. Its a great phone, buy it and you will not be sorry.. unless you loike the look of the V3 more... up to ou i guess! hope that helps!

Chris, i have the nec n412i (this phone), and you may as well stick with your current phone. Sounds like a Sony Ericsson, jope im correct on that!
Nah, otherwise purchase the Razr v3. That phone is so hott! Its far better, has speakerphone, the camera is better. Alas, the nec phone cant compare to it.. Oh wells, i cna survive. Battery is sucky also.

Thanks again for the reply Tad... well i bought the phone! it's very sexy and i'm extremely impressed with it. However, i managed to download Mp3's onto my phone, and i have no idea how to set them as my ringtone! can you do that? if so, how? thanks!

hello there, can sombody who owns the nec L1 tell me if the phone is a good buy or not? im currently using the se d750 with the upgraded firmware to the w800. how does that compare to it?
design wise, does it look better than the razr? im actually debating on getting iether the nec l1 or the moto v3i

Thanks for the reply Tad! i actually purchased the N412i yesterday, and Bluetooth doesn't work. I'm hoping to download Mp3s but bluetooth won't transfer and when i plug in my USB, nothing comes up on the computer so i'm unable to drag teh files into my phone via the USB cable, does anyone know why or another way i can download Mp3s?

Samantha, The USB allows you to connect to your computer and sync phone numbers etc. It can also sync with outlook. Even though it doesn't work as a speakerphone it has a speaker that you can listen to MP3s through. The bluetooth allow you to connect to other phones & transfer files also for Bluetooth handsfree and BT car kits.
