Maemo or Symbian, if it has that Nokia touch it all look the same. If you'll going to ask any N97 user/owner right now, i think they're ready to ditch their N97 for N900. Wanna bet?

if someone doesn't like what nokia has to offer with this phone than i've got 3 words for u, "don't buy it!" BUT stop complaining about each & every phone that comes out...cause even WE are not perfect, when we are to be the best creation by the Creator & phones are just a mere creation of us human beings. so, don't expect everything from 1 phone...a little bit of this & that sets us apart from each other...the same applies to phones...peace!

Why in the name easy living would anyone want multi-touch zooming? It's ridiculous! You actually need to use both hand when multi-touch zoom which is mot innovative at all. The circle zooming in the N900 you can do with one hand, I use to have that same circle motion zoom in HTC Touch Cruise, it was very comfortable.

Soul, 28 Aug 2009Nokia needs to make a non QWERTY variant of the N900, a lot... moreThese apps are for an older version, not all of them would work on this device. But hey it's just a few months after the release and the Maemo Select would be full of apps, useful apps :D

But my thoughts are that Symbian will be for less high-end phones, while Maemo will be the one for upper smartphones.

I think that this is a few months too late. They should have sold this to compete with the iphone.

I fully expect Apple to copy a few features of this device in their next release of iphone.

And people complain about Nokia not being innovative anymore. *rolls eyes*

honestly, i don care about the multi-touch... i rarely use the pinching thing on my ipod touch - it's just too awkward for me. I thought the circular motion zoom is very innovative.
