It is very important customer experience if the phone will go in service. 2 stars from 5 for UK Sony service, not good. Please Sony improve Sony service, go to reed reviews from amazon uk regarding Z3 Compact and Z3. Make peoples happy with their purchases.

SONY is really amazing brand, unfortunately they are tied up with Android and Apple doesn't open its OS to other manufacturer. If Apple and Sony joins the hand together - nothing can beat them.

On popular request I am brushing my previous comments and repost it as follow:
As SONY is on the verge of make or break in the world of mobile phone for that reason they want to make sure Z4 will be something amazing, something outstanding and something which can put both iphone or Samsung and the rest of big names to proper shame.
knowing how sony works and operate and being well familier with their internal moto, desire and excellent design capabilities and world class innovations in electronic and consumer goods, I say this to you that Xperia Z4 will come by the end of May, and it would amazed the whole world of smart phones beyond what you can even imagine today.
Z4 will be premium, (not plastic), will have features that sony kept secret out of everyone eyes for months, and it will have something that no other smart phones in the market can offer, sony will prove they deserve to be around for coming years and it would put the bar far up that Samsung and others wouldn't even be able to reach it, that is why they deliberately didn't want to bring all these excitement to Barcelona conference, because they wanted all the world attention to Z4 when they announce it in May.
wait for AMAZING Z4, it would blow your mind.
my suggestion to Samsung lovers is to wait only 2 months and see this phone before falling for Galaxy S6 or Edge, both are good phones, but you want something amazing, and that would be Z4.
it would well worth waiting for Z4, I promise you that.

As i said i will consider buying z4 only if the cam is better than lumia 1020 not even equal will do..... The detailing, dof is unbelievable in 1020 though it lacks macro capability by using a simple magnifying glass that problem is solved too

If it is a burden, use the camera widget manual icon, and set it to 20mpx, -1 light apperture, multifocus and stabilization off, click with onscreen shutter, it stays that way and is best for indoor
I take best indoor pics by a click of an icon, outdoors automode perfect

Wp is TIHS..... i loved sony more than any other brand... But camera experience was not good.... Btw z1c takes best pix in bright daylight only.... Pix indoors in room lighting KCUS big time

USER EXPERIENCE?!
Yeah right! You promised kitkat for us Sony Xperia SP users and look what happened! NOTHING! Kudos for updating the latest walkman, album and movies app for the SP's led light bar, but still. We really wanted Official KK.
Using cyanogen mod, even the official ones, messes with the led light bar and just about everything else.

I hope Xperia Z4 is better from Iphone and Samsung.
I hope Sony Xperia Z4 have Touch Id not fingerprint like Samsung,but like Iphone.
Also have camera effect amazing,new design shape,new application and more special from other phone.
I hope you can do what I have give my idea...

Sony's skin is my personal favorite, even better than having featureless stock. It is consistant with its navigation, and the only thing needed was a superficial redesign of looks, and it is being brought in Lollipop.
I agree with you about the camera, but I manage to take extremely good photograph with my Z3 Compact, iPhone 6 / Samsung S5 users get impressed by my pics.
Finally, the design of its Z line is getting indeed a bit boring but that is only becaused of the 6 month cycle, otherwise we would only have 2 Z-flagship devices instead of 4 (Z,Z1,Z2,Z3). And I actually love the design.... I would tell them that do a complete overhaul ONLY if its proven to be better. Otherwise stick with your winning design, much like HTC One M7/M8/M9
