19 March, 2015
The Taiwanese company's flagship from two years ago is apparently at the end of the support line.

Then what about HTC One (M8), will it receive future updates?

I didn't read the comments , but I'm pretty sure there'll be some unhappy users out there. But y'all know what? Y'all should be grateful that HTC One M7 has gone through 4 major upgrades. Even Samsung, the most popular Android manufacturer's Galaxy S III final software update was until 4.3.

Change to Sony. Better support (can be a bit slow sometimes but they still give you updates), better design (highly subjective), better UI (this is also highly subjective but fact is Sony's Android is a lot closer to stock/vanilla Android), better camera and waterproof.

[deleted post]In case you don't understand English. I pointed out that HTC stated that they would support devices for 2 years. The 2 years for the M7 is up. If it was Samsung, Apple, Microsoft etc who said it I would still be saying the manufacturer stated they would do something for 2 years and that 2 years is now up.
You keep saying you are proving a point? What point? You haven't made a point. You are calling people fanboys and saying that HTC have made a horrible mistake!!! What mistake?
What logical fallacy am I lashing you with? I stated what the company said? You are the one who is keeping this thread going somehow thinking you are right when you probably know nothing about new product introduction or sustaining existing products.
HTC haven't dropped an axe on anyone, everyone knew what was coming. I have an M8. I know that I will have one year left of software updates. So what. I know what I got in to and I will either keep the phone or upgrade it.
You seem to be the only person having an issue with it "anonymous". Why anonymous? Did you get your profile removed from trolling articles?
What phone do you use? I'm sure that anyone can pick apart your phone or find something to complain about the manufacturer. If you don't have anything positive or constructive to say about anything then go away!
