          hello

well i do quite like the idea of the hook feature as my number number requirement when purchasing a new fone these days is the ability to hook the fone in my anus.
Also i do like the idea of flipping the hook down and using it 2 rack up a line of crystal meth and then flip the hook up and snort the meth up my nostrell.

This reminds me of the Sony CMD Z1.
            http://mobile.softpedia.com/phones/Sony/Sony-CMD-Z1.shtml

I don't remember it had lot's of success. Maybe it was too expensive....
            Cheers

In the early ninties I used to have a SONY (only SONY) Z1 I believe it was called. It had a similar design. To the right side there was a microphone bar that you easily flipped out to answer a call. You could use the same hand you used to hold the phone with. I'd like to see that again.

Neat idea. I would change the hook into more of a loop made of a curtain spring - so its supple rather than rigid.

                          hey netters~
plz make ur criticism at least a bit constructive~

well~ for me its a nice design~ but the usability is not really good...maybe for those who loves to stick to fashion...they'll say yes to this form factor..

i think this form factor is nice to be in the same class with the fashion phones...like motorola Aura...
maybe the hook can be more durable..and stuffed with diamonds to make it bedazzles~ who knows!?

totally useless. inconvenient. such a bad idea. the hook may break easily.

Certainly not a good. I'd rather stick to Nokia's sliding mechanism on the 5800 XpressMusic and N97. Even two-press to unlock is good enough.

What da? Why report on such a RETARDED idea?

How easy is it to break this thing? What's wrong with holding or pushing two buttons?

It be more worthwhile using shake-control to lock or unlock a phone: shake once to lock - shake twice to unlock.

As it is with so many phones in the market that are either slide or flip models there are problems with mishandling an all.. an so many a times the speakers don't work... An now with the new "form factor" with the sliding or flipping hook... even one drop on it will easily break the hook.. i don't think personnally that it is a very bright idea. instead they can have a single push button on the side that can be used for locking\unlocking the phone.
