AnonD-301779, 19 Jun 2015Designed by Nokia, produced in China. How is that different... moreBut it's not the Nokia that most people presume it to be, and that's the point I'm making. The N1 tablet for example, the whole process is basically subcontracted out and Nokia's badge stuck on to it. That's the point I'm making. The Nokia staff, designs and hardware testing processes etc that people tend to love is now at Microsoft, not Nokia. The Apple example you give does not apply here as Apple hasn't been taken over and transferred to a different company, Nokia has.

Samsung will still be the king by then. do you forget about Exynos 7430 chipset and beyond SoC, UFS 2.0 now 3.0 by then, 10/8 NM manufacturing technology, their integrated ePoP solution and much-much-more? Nokia will then be the prince.

It appears most people don't realise that the brains behind Nokia Phones and Smartphones were transferred to Microsoft.

The current 'Nokia' that will be getting into the smartphone industry is pretty much a completely different company.

The people saying that they still want Nokia legendary hardware, well you want Microsoft then as they bought that. However, I do understand that not everybody wants Windows on their phones. These upcoming Nokia phones though will just smply be Chinese produced handsets with Nokia's logo attached to them.

Sorry to disappoint those who weren't aware of this.
