Anonymous, 26 Aug 2015Yes, it's still a design flaw if it doesn't obstruct usage,... moreIf you think , this is an issue(it is not, though)
    USE THIS FIX:
Just file(or cut) the top of the clicking cap, from the both sides that may obstruct the mechanism of the phone(see some picture of the mechanism- PA have one)
Then you will have fully functional S-Pen and don't need to worry if you put it wrong. Not as "premium" looking S-Pen end, though, but not big deal AT ALL. It doesn't change the overall look of the phone AT ALL

AnonD-369311, 26 Aug 2015But the question here is WHY? Why insert it the wrong way a... moreI have answered this your question many times.
        Here it is once again:
"Of course Samsung could avoid this very easy, don't even try to underestimate them. No OEM can compare with the Samsung engineers.
But making this "premium" version of Note 5 ESPECIALLY for hunting iboys in US, they decided not to compromise the "premium design" and "wow factor" because of the functionality."
        Satisfied???

Anonymous, 26 Aug 2015So, if according to you it's not a problem, why the FIX? ... more"So, if according to you it's not a problem, why the FIX?"
Kid , the FIX that I gave is for those who believe this is a problem. And if they don't care much about the design.
And where did you see that I'm justifying smth??? I don't justify Note 5 even that I'm Note user since day one. No matter how great Note 5 is, I(and most of us) will not buy it.
            I'm just explaining the situation:
Samsung made Note5 , not for us , but for the apple-fans.
That's why they put the "premium design" over all. That's why they made this design of S-Pen. That's why they omit the removable back , swappable battery, SD and so on.
            Got it now?

Not all design flaws are critical, not all hinder end usage, but they still happen

This pen thing *can* obstruct usage in certain circumstances, evidently, so even by your own definition it's a flaw. Shame, as the Note 5 is a damn nice looking phone.

Note 5 is just flawed, in anything you look at it, from the stupid soc it runs to the bad design choices and now your pen can also get stuck and damage the mechanism. Not to mention that the display is usually dual-toned, the camera gives errors and force closes.
                        Downhill she goes.

You're using your Note 5 in the dark. You drop the stylus. You feel around on the floor to find it, pick it up, and put it into your phone so you don't drop it again.

                          Oops! You just blew $600.

Samsung should highlight their User Manual as the main product in IFA Berlin. Btw, the new Spen have a clicking mechanism. How could someone missed that and insert it wrong way.

Keep on nitpicking on every single thing Samsung design. The Spen is a 5th generation and the first four generation never had any issues. So, why now? Mere conspiracy to bring down Samsung.
