Oh and with that interface, Symbian will be a total failure!! You can't even feel the "WOW" in it. It has no really eye-catching eye-candy on it! Just look at it! It's boring! There's no 3d-ness in it or any cool lay-out or something. And those fckd up widgets looks so trying hard!! Seriously! Nokia's design team or whatever needs some serious help!

With the number of AWESOME Android devices released and to be released, they are so dead! And even iPhone is eating their smartphone market share. Nokia can only depend on their low-ends now. The only reason they're "number one" is because of mainly their low-ends. Marketshare doesn't really show a company's success. Look at apple, they have about 2%+ marketshare but they are waaay successful. Sorry but Nokia's really only hope is their low-end phones since Symbian is dying and Maemo isn't really doing well or if they win the sue over apple which BTW sounds really st*p*d.

Nokia should stop with Symbian if they wanna survive! The only way they can is by using the Maemo OS as they do for the N900 or by stepping on the Android bandwagon. Symbian is a true mess, I have developed for this platform and I thank the whole universe that I could stop. Now I develop for Android which is sooo great. I geuss that Meamo is also good to develop. By this they can also create an appstore which is a must have when you wanna compete agains Android & IPhone.

Some of you forget that Nokia is the best mobile phone maker in the world... do you think Nokia is sleeping in the shadow? It's possible that symbian is going to loose market share, but I believe that soon enough Nokia will adapt their software or even migrate to other software solutions just to keep their market share and still being the world's 1st mobile maker... Some of you seems that want to kill Nokia... but I don't think you can do it..

symbian 4 = mini maemo?
Just offer the dashboard and multitple decktop. And some improved ui shown in the above preview
and more candy eye please. Hire some top artist designer to design new nokia theme and official nokia icons
i think all mobile companis need to make gimmick phoone to attract buyers and teenagers who always start the trend
apple is soooo tooo clever to target this type of group of users teenagers who start the fashion trend. Some things we like to learn from apple are their icon and theme and softwaare design.

Yall stop deceiving your selves. Nokia's symbian is still the worlds favourite os. And it will remain so for a long time to come. Wanna know why? Software availabity, efficiency and the fact that they are f***n cheap. I can never think of getting something else. Not even as a third phone.

Copyin... moreNot sure which was your real issue;either it was the usual isheep response or n97 hate well it's just counter-productive to the subject at hand.It's good to see if Symbian's evolving in some way,more IMPORTANTLY this time is that both the foundation and Nokia MUST AGREE TO A UNIFIED SET OF PRINCIPLES to underscore common features,requirements AND sooner rather than later on how devs should be able to make money.Don't forget about backward compatibility to all ARM 11 based devices and possibly to S60 3rd ones.How?Let's not screw with high sys reqs and at least try to achieve the best middle ground spec that works.
