AnonD-191847, 10 Sep 2015S6's fingerprint is better than iphone's(don't take my word... moreStop fooling yourself. The Z5 isn't even available on shelves and you are saying its fingerprint sensor is superior to Apples already stellar Touch ID? You must be completely ignorant or you are just making a caricature out of yourself. Plus, the Z5 has the fingerprint on the side, not on the back; get your facts right first. S6's fingerprint sensor is leaps and bounds ahead of S5's; but no one claimed that it's better than Apple's Touch ID. Maybe, you reviewed it yourself. Again, in all S6 reviews, whenever they are talking about the fingerprint sensor, the reviewers set the iPhone 5s/6 as the standard; that should itself justify my point. And even if I accept your claim of S6 having a superior fingerprint scanner, remember that you are comparing a 2015 flagship (S6) to a 2014 or 2013 one (6/5s). 2nd generation Touch ID debuted on the new 6S and we dnt even know how fast or better that will be as compared to S6.
And surely your Samsung pay will be better when it launches in near future. You are comparing a future technology to one that's already operational and pretty successful. This is like saying, when the 2016 or 2017 iPhone will launch, they will be 100 times better than all other Android flagships of the future. Talk about the present dude.

apple, android, windows blablabla...fanboys squabbling over which is better...honestly none is better that the other they are all the same and catter for different needs. not every one is a geeky nerd ready to fiddle with settings all the time in android, not everyone wants to be told how to think like in apple and not everyone is willing to be shut out of thier device like in windows. so live with it...devices will be made and yes in different OS implementations. fanboys please do us a favour and stop forcing us to regret our choices...this is worst than the AMD vs Nvidia squables gosh!!!

Guys. Let's be honest. You're all quick enough to jump on other brands for 'copying' Apple and now you've been tarred with the same brush it's all of a sudden biased and unfair. Get over it. I'm glad someone had the balls to write this article. It is LITERALLY what you guys do all the time.

Microsoft has already said they will release a huge update for iOS 9. Android 6.0 Marshmellows should be released by end of this month and let's see how the two ecosystems stack up.

As my Apple fanboy friend put it; Innovation died with Jobs. I don't want to bash the iPhone but Apple do have this arrogant 'our stuff is better' attitude. I loved my first iPhone and at the time there was nothing else that compared but these days, personally, I find them limited in terms of OS capability and memory capacity and I probably won't ever go with Apple again, not just because Android is a more suitable OS for me and I can get better hardware elsewhere but I just don't want to be part of that 'crowd' that thinks they're better than everyone else because they took an iPhone out on contract. Christ I once saw someone on here refer to non Apple users as peasants. How low of human being do you have to be? Plus I'm pretty sure someone who can afford a flagship Sony or Sammy could easily afford an iPhone so why be a d*ck about it?

But tap purchases are limited to a certain amount right? So that would be the limitation to Android pay and also Apple pay. So you wont be able to go buy certain things.

Token... morenonetheless, back to the original question about which one is superior, the answer to that is Android pay. Works with over a million locations(Apple pay only with "hundreds of thousands), it's available now and has a nice list of supported banks. So until Samsung pay can actually release properly you still have a superior alternative on Android. Bottom line is, if you want an iPhone for pay, don't. Android has a better alternative.

I am more going to support android pay, hopefully it works just as samsung pay. Why? because I prefer a solution that is not just limited to samsung devices.
