I believe they could have increased their salesnumber by somthing as simple as equipping phones with a 3,5 minijack, and not let the amount of time between announcement and release be to many months.

By the way guys I advice you to read the whole link to be in the real picture, instead of this nonsense from GSmarena. By reading the whole link you will find it more encouraging and exciting. While if you only read what's written here. You are only seeing the black down side which sadly gsmarena wants you to see. I really don't get it why gsmarena hates SE that much but still can't resist reviewing and posting every new thing from this company lol. Ironic really :)

I guess it's the magic of SE ;)

sony has to step up their game.
they have good phones they are just not getting in the market soon.
i know sony likes to do things in a certain way to make the product the best in its class, but speed is also important.
hope they get this delay in control and release x10 i have been waiting for ages....

          come on sony ...

SE 2010, 22 Jan 2010Well unlike gsmarena and most of you people posting negativ... morewill goodluck. im a bit disappointed with se products because of the late release on their products.

i was waiting too long for the x10 to be release. but i cant wait anymore thats why im forced to buy other phone...

now before the release of that x10, new models of other brands turns out having much better features and styles than x10. like the new line up of motorola phones... more better android phone than x10... SE will surely be dead if they will not change their marketing strategy... my interest of x10 melts down when i see the motorola new lineup... milestone alone can compete, much more the motoroi and shadow... so good luck...

I can imagine how hard it is to SE put new phones in right time. Hundreds of meeting between Sony and Ericsson to decide every feature, which design, which form-factor, debating all the costs that will imply on every step, bringing to the table many conflict ideas. And what´s about the language? Complete different languages between the companies can also bring some more misunderstandings to the mix, isn´t?
I wish Sony would buy Ericsson share, and stop with this mess. Of course is hard to believe that this could happen, since Ericsson must have many important patented technology stuff...
Anyway... I can tell you that I totally support SE arise, competition is just great! If the price is right in those recent phones, I will be very tempted to bring one home...
                Cheers

Sony Ericsson, this might be not important for you but pls take a listen

A stranger once said to his friend (also a stranger) : Szégyen a futás, de hasznos.
Running away is a shame, but it is useful.

What I want to say is, it could be hard for you to abandon your proprietary or your unique devices coz you have put all your efforts to impove them, but unfortunatelly markets always depending to the consumers' demand.

                      its a very sad news.
SE should put more emphasis on mid end phones. also its not a must to make each phone have a special design coz yr wasting a lot of money on this.
lately, Se has been diversifying itself(launching phones with various OSes)and integrating some "standard" things in the phones but i dunno whether its too late :S

anyway,...... hope that yr situation will get better this year, which i forecast(losses are getting smaller and smaller with each quarter) :)

Ive been a Sony Ericsson fan all my life, and to see this news really puts me down. I really feel sorry for those guys at SE. I simply cannot imagine a world without Sony Ericsson. I really can't.

Well unlike gsmarena and most of you people posting negative comments.
I believe in hope, I believe in a better future, I believe SE will survive and rise again. SE is not a small weak company that will surrender very soon, well your wrong if you think that way. SE is strong and as they say you never fail until you stop trying. So, GO SE GO, all your beloved customers will be with you. Just try to take our feedback seriously and I'm sure things will work just fine.

Yes SE is struggling for a while now but this never prevented them from giving us the best like the X2, X10, Satio, Aino and Vivaz. SE needs us now, it's not the time to cry like a girl and say that we will miss you SE. It's the time that we be men and do all what's in our power to support our beloved company.

Just imagine a world without SE! I think it would be so boring! But this will not happen and SE will rise again because it's the only one that make.believe :D

My input is they failed early on consistently bringing out fones with qcif video,,no 3.5mm jack, memory stick and so on but the k850 and especially p990i i hated to bits and had no use out of p990i..All the fones take ages to come with setback after setback..I got all hyped up over xperia x1 stating that it was cybershot,,walkman,,all wrapped up in one premium device,,it had none and was just to slow but i still loved the design..

I dont want s/e to fail just get things working and on time,

It may be worth for SE to focus seriousely on middle easth market as well by introducing mobiles sets which support Arabic language. SE is requested as well to introduce applications that are demanded in middle east.

most of Nokia's income came from low / mid level cellphones.
if SE really wants to survive the battle, i think SE should make more low / mid cellphones with more competitive price.
