Maybe now with all this money made by Apple they will include 3g cam and a 5mpx camera in the next iphone and transfer through bluetooth...Like Nokia did about 4 years ago...Junk phones like apple have succes becouse of the marketing.I have 2 phone ,a HTC HD2 and an iphone 3gs which is a piece of junk compared to HD2.Think before you buy a smartphone...oh..i forgot...Iphone isn`t even a smartphone...not even multitasking. ;))))

Actually noone cares. The results are mediocre at best for a company selling mp3players, phones, notebooks, laptops, desktops, etc... that all require custom accessories and are mostly uncompatible with everything on the market.

regarding mac sales, sure Apple have sold millions of macs but PC brands has sold twice as that resulting in more increase of PC market share. of course Apple doesn't report this.

well done to apples pr and advertising agencies and departments,they've managed make an fairly decent phone sell like wildfire making them rich. That saying it was probably easy enough for them as a huge number of people buying the iphone do so without much pre knowledge of it or the market place simply to fit in or buy it as their peers have as its the cool thing to buy. the 'iphones the best cause we all have it so it must be' is again the result of excellent marketing by apple perhaps with excellent psycholgical advertising

[deleted post]you are so right. when i ask my friends why they bought an iphone, there is only one response:its really cool, it is the most advanced mobile phone and you can do a lot of things.
after that, when i show to those blind people that there is a WORLD outside their pretty bubble, they simply stop their "hey i got an iphone" boast.(and i love when i make people realize how crap an iphone is. sometimes people needs to get "slapped" to get out of the illusion lol)

Nice for Apple, becomes more Competitive and others must Do Also.
I had a MacBook Pro and a iMac , was good products and OS was smooth and fast, but i prefer PC's(maybe because i grew up with them). My iPhone though i won't change it unless i see a good OS from Microsoft Or any other.

Good work Apple!! Are you the ONLY company actually making REAL MONEY in the mobile phone industry?
How many years experience in the mobile phone industry do you have?? Not as much as Sony Ericsson, Nokia or the others, but how comes you guys are making SO MUCH MORE MONEY than them.
And Vodafone UK sold 100,000 iPhone's in just ONE WEEK?? I doubt Nokia could even SHIP that many of a single smartphone - let alone SELL that many. I'm amazed.
Plus Mac computers and Mac OSX is such a beautiful experience to use.

Great results from a company that has provided at times good innovation in the marketplace. The company is taking a big gamble with the launch of its tablet given the historical reluctance for many to consider a tablet based computing portable.
