I would say only this, they somehow thought that they are in the league of apple, with the prices in the same league. The biggest mistake these people have done, after all they are following Apple in other words copying them. Slash your prices and you should be ok.

Samsung high-end smartphones have been a disappointment in recent years. Take nothing away from the great looking Edge variants but they have moved backwards with the smaller batteries and non-expanadable memory (like Apple, except with smaller memory offerings). Oh! And I completely forgot about the despicable Touchwiz ! I used to be such A Samsung fanboy but not anyMORE. WE WANT UPGRADES NOT DOWNGRADES, please

Samsung Mobiles Project-Zero as not been any good for the Company,they were more bothered in trying to grab iPhone users to there phones instead of Pleasing its Loyal Galaxy phone users,Since the Galaxy S2 to S5 they offered the Removable Battery & Micro Sd Card Slot on there phones,an when consumers have got so used to these offers they want there next phone to offer the same options,build Quality might have been Improved but by not offering the Micro Sd Card Slot it as not Impressed a lot of Galaxy phone users,Plus Metal & Glass as also Upgraded the Cost of Samsung phones to Much,Glass also Breaks easy and is a Fingerprint Magnet,We All Hope Now Samsung can realise there mistakes and they can finally please Galaxy phone users with the Future Galaxy S7 with the Card Slot & a Larger Battery to Substitute the Removable Battery

If it was the international version of S3 yet less because it has only a 1GB of ram. Xperia Z has a Snapdragon quad-core Krait cpu and 2GB of ram, you must have it in account.

Huawei and Xiaomi don't get make front to Samsung. They haven't no chances. Samsung have inovate the design of their flagships progressively, specially last year and this year. You don't see that Samsung it's a mosnter compared with Huawei and Xiaomi in terms of companies? Samsung it's a companie with multiple departements and enterprises in their group.

Xperia Z even got 5.1.1 now, Galaxy S3 not even KK, that's where the difference come. Samsung makes cheap crap without any support.

I find the problem with samsung products are the slow updates on my tablet @ note 3.my next phone will be a sony or nexus.

They did exactly the opposite of what they should have. Their phones were not more popular not because they were not "applelike enough", but because they were TECHNOLOGICALLY (Software/hardware) not good enough (Numbers are not everything. Except for mah). And instead of improving battery, speakers, software, they made their phones even less technologically attractive. Well, hello? Those who buy phones for their desingn already buy iPhones (Which has terrible design, but people are easilly brainwashed).
Plus, they could have still made Galaxy s for fashion-users and Note for tech lovers. No point in copying not only Apple, but themselves too. 0 common sense.

Crap repetitive design every time and biggest copycat..if they dont improve they will doom. Forget about competition with apple, Xiaomi and Huawei will kill Samsung.
Make a real beautiful phone with good material else you pay big sites for review or whatever you will doom soon. People have already start disbelieving those paid reviews.

I had the money to buy any phone on the market, I got the Galaxy S5 :)
S5 was a success, but the market was saturated with S4's this was the deal, if they continued on this line, they could have been successful - just instead of S6, release that S5 LTE-A Prime, which they got only in Korea, with better chipset ... that would have been a blast.
Make us a phone S5 like, with the alternatives of active and mini ... with the latest chipset and features, make it available and with updates for long time .. work with the XDA developers group, help them. . and this is the way to do business.
Sammy got it right with S4 and S5, but S5 simply could not beat S4 just because they got it right. S6 was a serious misjudgement and deviation from course.
S6 like phones could be a new line for Sammy - trying to take a bite from Apple .. but they should not give up on what makes them successful.

It happened because Samsung followed Apple. Going for non-removable battery and no sd card reader, they ditched their main selling point, which was convenience and power to the user. Now, the S6 is just an iphone with android. I don't want another pretty fragile glass back premium phone. Bring back the original Galaxy S series.

fyi, iphone is expensive but it receives os upgrades at least until 4 years after you buy it.
Samsung is also expensive, but it will become trash after 2 years (or maybe just 18 months).
Samsung ui is laggy bloaty and ugly, which is called Lagwiz.
Lagwiz is the most laggy android ui. Miui and Zenui are even smoother than Lagwiz.
