This is not a surprise since most are waiting for the 950 series. And the fact that the Insider Preview makes Lumia owners feel like they have a new device, who would buy a new phone? Since the OS is not too power hungry, phones released from years ago will run without too many issues. With Apple and Android, you got to have the newest hardware because Apple says so, and old Androids doesn't and won't support them. 920 and 1020 owners will say that they don't feel like letting go of their devices. S2/S3, iPhone 4/4G, wish they could say the same.

Today, the 950 series have everything tech geeks want like removable batteries, up to 2TB MicroSD, f/1.9 aperture camera with high ISO and 5th gen OIS + triple led rgb flash, Windows Hello, Continuum, GG4 + Glance on OLED, etc.

        " Everyday is not Sunday"
....with the arrival of Wd10 lumia phone and new surface tablet, chances of early recovery is there, provided Microsoft gave more importance to developed better environment for the (poorer section) common people. High pricing flagship phone for few rich peoples alone wouldn't help in long run.

I'm happy for MS releasing not one but two high-end phones. I look forward to MS gaining some success in the mobile arena, if it concentrates on hardware, software, marketing and availability.

They don't release their phones regularly, make owners of previous gen Lumias wait for years. It took them a year and a half to update high-end portfolio. They don't promote their phones properly, even if they do, it's downright awful. All their phones look the same, including specs, no variety, and nothing new. And they don't care about availability. Look at the iPhone 6S for instance.. They prioritize iOS and Android, leaving no choice for Windows phone owners but to switch platform. This decline is no surprise. It had to happen. If MS still didn't learn from its mistakes, only god can help them. And I'm a Windows phone owner/fan.

Just like Google who makes Android OS, Google didn't advertise Android. It's Android OEM and partners that produce hardware, sell, and advertise Android phones.

It's because MS is too slow rolling out Win10 Mobile.
If MS launch Win10 Mobile together with Desktop back in August, their Q3 revenue could be better.

Because the people at microsoft don't know how to sell smartphones. The hardware is really good but they have next to no idea on how to get the masses to buy their stuff.
