JD, 17 Nov 2015Grey! Ur simply patheticccc....He has a point. IR blaster makes things a lot easier to some people(not me though), and it could be the deciding factor that differentiates another phone from Samsung(Mostly for the less technical people).

How about you just tell us why you would say a childish thing like that? What's pathetic about that?

Zenodroid, 17 Nov 2015im currently on note 5 and maybe looking at elephone next y... moreI think tizen is based on pure Linux so it doesn't need heavy spec. Nokia n9 meego is an example for that. Its the only smartphone in the world that can multitask more than 30apps at a time. Android is not pure Linux there is some java crap inside that makes it heavy. Correct me if iam wrong.

Samsung's going vertical too - first kicking Qualcomm out, then Android to control the entire stack. Just like Apple and Microsoft. Leaving Google with Android to bundle with Huawei. Tizen might be faster but also more vulnerable than Android, iOS and Windows - it's not OO (Object Oriented) but has a long to way to go like Windows before getting traction.

Anonymous, 17 Nov 2015I'm not sure that i will buy it for the next 2 years becaus... moreTizen is not that new. Its been two years. Besides, why do you think Samsung want to do this? Because Tizen is already bigger than BB OS. Tizen is now the fourth largest mobile platform in the world. It is only logical to take it to the next level. Can't lose to that Blackberry phones.

im currently on note 5 and maybe looking at elephone next year :) so samsung tizen high end phone, really need to be powerfull if they want me to upgrade to it. if they are talking less than octa core cpu/gpu, 4gb ram and less than 3000 battery, its a no go.

Now we'll see what this Linux based OS is truly capable of when it's running on non-entry level phones. Mobile OS in general is starting to get boring now so the more the merrier.

I tried all platforms from bada to android to ios and to win phone except tizen. Is it a good os?I know its been released for quite a time now.,how is it going?everytime I remember what happened to bada years ago,its really sad that they dumped that high end device before. I was pretty depressed by that. I still have my samsung wave I working until now, i want to try tizen but i lost my trust for samsung with thier own os. Maybe things will be a little bit different now since they have a lot of money to use for development, and if im not mistaken tizen is open source?
