Typing on the Mini is better than typing text on iphone, and Symbian is very usable today, iphone only looks nice when jumping trough its menus but the phone itself can not do as much as N97 Mini. IStore is bigger, but who really needs all tahat junk to buy and download to the phone?

Please, just because you don't find it user friendly and simple does not mean everyone else shares the same view. I find the Symbian interface very logical and powerful. This is an opinion and nothing to do with features. Once again, please give a few features that the N97 lacks which is there on the Iphone

My experience with the N97 has been the same laggy, ugly, unintuitive interface as any other symbian phone. the Iphone, of course, has set the bar when it comes to user experience, and believe it or not, that is a pretty important feature to alot of people.
Also I can't imagine apple changing their design so drastically. Each of their devices has curves, not so many sharp edges, this phone does though. Also there are too many breaks in the side, it looks sloppy.

I guess apple has purposely let this one out to keep us engrossed where as the actual one is going to be different. I believe that coz this new device does not match the iphones design pattern at all. And based on my understanding an upgrade probably wont have such a drastic design change. It simply does not match the iphone lineage.

Symbian OS is not simple it apples but it is not hard to use either. Also the processor is good enough cause the OS is much less resource tied. (Processor is good enough to play Divx files!)
No one ever writes a few features which the Iphones has over the n97.

It's not just the resolution; the iPhone's lens is so bad that pictures are too blurry and grainy for shots. Even the Nexus One easily blows the 3GS in terms of camera performance and features.
Let's see if the 4G could best its predecessors, hopefully having a better lens and some LED or Xenon flash.

But:
Bigger resolution and still a 3.5 inch screen? (or even smaller?..) UHM. What's up with that?
If the 4th generation iPhone has this:
-5MP camera with FLASH
-(SUPER)AMOLED display with at least 480x800 res
-NEW USER INTERFACE
-1GHz processor
..I will not buy the HTC Desire. But I am pretty sure the Desire will end up in my pocket.

The best 4G Iphone should look the same as 3G Iphone, but with 3.7-4.0" screen., longer battery life time (bigger) 1800-2000 mAh that can be taken out and charged., 1-2 GHz CPU., yes 640 X 960 resolution., 16 M color., 8 Mpix Camera on the back and 3.15 MPix front camera., all others remain the same.

All apple fanboys yesterday said tha this can't be the new iphone because is too ugly to be a apple product. Now that is almost comfirmed they say that is the best looking iphone. Pfff

The phone that gets my money is one that has ALL of that together. Sod marketing strategies and excuses, I want to have my cake and eat it.
