By the way, I am glad to see BlackBerry in top 5 slots. Whenever any of my clients asked me about BlackBerry I direct them to other brands, however what I saw earlier in their new version, I think I can now tell them to go for them. So far I usually tell them to wait for at least 8 months or next year because by than RIM will fill the gaps they currently have to compete the market.

    You put it in perfectly simple words, than the screen resolution plays another major role to speed up or slow down the entire process and this iPhone has the lowest one.

    I get to hear almost all the time from various people when I turn their monitors to high res, such as 1024x768 (yes for them its the high) they yell or scream aloud why I turn it low. No mater how much I explain that it is high, they always want to go back to 800 because it is high for them.

    Simple example of how people think what is high and what is low.

Iphone has the good apps.

      Iphones 320 x 480 pixels is probably one the lowest screenresolutions among touchscreen phones, even the cheapest low budget Nokia touchphones are much higher and better. '

      I agree about the apps though, Iphone has alot of apps, but it is supposed to be a phone and i would like to be able to talk without batter dying. If i just want apps i will by a Ipod.

Indeed, it is th... moreIf you move to next page you will find my answer in which I give you guys a simple example of source of iPhone's speed. I am a programmer I know how programming and application works, I am a graphics designer and I know what type of graphics element suck the life out of speed even on heavy desktop machines. So I know exactly when I say something. Plus I have a very good background of understanding the promotion of business and running a business so I can clearly see what to say and how to present something to get most of it.

        iPhone is not as powerful as it presented, it is the developers that making it happen and only because they are ripping off your pockets on Apple's behalf. If you take a China phone that can run Java, and you start developing good Java apps, it will be as same as iPhone in its current form. Only difference left would be speed, or so called smoothness which yes I agree is there, because there is nothing more to do inside its OS itself.

        I don't mind having a smooth system, basic phone as long as serve my purpose pefectly but on base of these facts I have no right to call this basic phone the BEST in entire universe. Say iPhone is perfect for your need, don't say iPhone is THE PERFECT. Because everytime anyone will repeat something like this I will come saying it is THE PERFECT TOY.

            Anonymous, 03 May 2010The iPhone is so smart that nokia loving sheep just cannot ... moreSo you think only Iphone has simplicity. You talk about

            "setting up email accounts," In a Nokia, you
            - Click "Messaging"
            - Click "Create New Mailbox"
            - Enter you email address
            - Enter your Password. You are done!!

            "logging into wifi networks" In a Nokia, you
            - Looks for open Networks and connects to them automatically
            - For a hidden (Protected) network, enter its name and password. You are done!!

            "Surfing the Internet" In a Nokia, you
            - Click "Web" OR "Opera Mobile" OR "Skyfire". And you are done.

            How can these be any more simple???

                Anonymous, 03 May 2010Please tell us about this touchscreen device Nokia had befo... moreAnd once again, you Apple people completely miss the mark of my comment. I see that the there is a bigger issue than mobile phones here, that is the understanding of the English language.

                My comment says that nobody copies anybody and that most of what is released is due to natural evoulution and progression of hardware in the buisness.

                If you fall inte to the "who copied who trap", the the arguments just goes round and round.

                How does a huge greyscale messagepad like Newton that is not a phone and made by predominately by Sharp by the way, fall into this segment about mobile phones?

                How does ARM processor even fall into this argument? It's not even relavent in any way.

                Do you degrade yourself on purpose on these thread or do you just have fetish and get turned on by having people think that you make no sense?

                I would appreciate if you Apple fans would once in your life stick to subject of the conversation instaed of wandering of like a 5-year old in a department store.

                And if you don't understand English i suggest you hire a interpreter or translator instead of using your iEnglish app on your iPhone, which by the way never makes sense.

                  my IMHO :

                  SE = design maker
                  Samsung = good hardwere
                  RIM = best connectivity
                  Nokia = usefull
                  iPhone = exclusive

                    Anonymous, 03 May 2010The iPhone is so smart that nokia loving sheep just cannot ... moreYou Apple guys really know how to degrade yourself with proud. I am in favor of simplicity, I am more of a Sony Ericsson and Motorola guy, but most of all I am in favor of what is good + usable + beautiful + helpful + attractive + brand integration. The whole package. If I list down my history you will be running sweat but I will not do it because I know what I know and I know that most of you can never see things the way I (and many of us) can see. I write down things by facts and you can't see those so no need to waste time on you but of course I will do it to make sure world is not full of you.

                    When next time your so-called smart-OS will come up with useful magical features that we have been using from years, you will realize what you were missing, and while you were jumping with joy having those "new" things, we will be enjoying and making our lives more comfortable by using real new stuffs.

                    Just in case if you are not iPhone-hardcore fan, treat you as blind iPhone fanboys because my message is directed to them.

                      Hey Apple even helped start a company to provide processors for the Newton it's called ARM, maybe you've heard of them.

                        Anonymous, 03 May 2010Nah, not really? Does phone calls -check takes pictures... moreIt's funny how you say Nokia copies Ericsson. Then you go on to mention touchscreen, Symbian and 12mp of the Satio.

                        First of all nobody has innovation rights to touchscreens in that sense, it's for everybody. Nokia had touchscreen years before Apple, so you mean Apple copied Nokia then?

                        When you say Nokia copied Satio, and mention Symbain, i was just wondering, you do know Symbian is Nokias OS right? Are you saying Nokia stole Symbian OS from SE?

                        Just because Satio has 12mp camera doesn' mean Nokia is copying it, it's called evolution and progression, something Apple fans might not be aware of for obvious reasons.

                        By your reasoning Iphone 4G with it's 5mp camera is copying like 5 different Nokia touchscreen devices already on the market with 5mp cameras?

                        You can't have it both ways, you either trash Nokia and stick with your reasoning whicg makes Apple a big copycat of Nokia or you admit that it is due to natural specsevolution and progression in the business.

                        You must probably be the dumbest person i have talked to on GSM arena. You constantly contradict yourself shamelessely with statements makes no sense whatsoever just to for the obsession of winning arguments.

                        You need to get your head straight, people on these threads are not as gulible as iApples.

                          The iPhone does all the hard work making smartphones usable by anyone, not just geeks who have plenty of time to waste tinkering with a phone.

                          Apple is the top company for customer satisfaction, it makes things like setting up email accounts, logging into wifi networks, surfing the Internet and using all the other smartphone features a joy to use, not a chore.

                          Android understands this, Blackberry has also got the message, the N8 will be Nokia's first attempt to approach smartphone use from a users perspective, not some engineers.

                          It will be interesting to see if the CEO of Noka still has a job next week, 3,000,000€ a year to run Nokia down to nothing more than cheap phone sellers to the lowest common denominator.

                          Market share is meaningless without profits coming in to make it worthwhile.

No it is not a real smartphone, it is the wrapper and packaging and advertisement that are smart there only, and the developers who are continue to make money, they are smart too, but most of the users, no they are not so smart by claiming it the real smartphone.

                                I think best mobile companies are NOKIA, Sony-Ericsson, Apple, HTC, Samsung. Nokia and Sony-Ericsson most desirable brands if you like a lot aplication and has a best quality photo and video camera. These two brands phones almost same in functionality and quality.
