Video playback is not a big deal anymore in terms of power requirement as many chips have hardware decoders. The better news is that the battery can last 17 hours with full brightness. That's actually a pretty good news as the screen is usually the major battery drainer.

More useful benchmark, however, would be battery life of gaming with full brightness. That will stress the device fully, and test how efficient the overall engineering is.

MAGIC, 30 Jan 201617 hours play only on Mars :)Sceptical? Well, for a start the S6 have 13 hours videoplayback and the Note5 have 15 hours videoplayback. 17 hours videoplayback on S7 is not much a lie. It just a slight improvement from Note series. The headline of course is over exageratting it making you believe its battery can last more than 24 hours. The number is just base of lab test for videoplayback. Just like how smartphone can have 75 hours of musicplayback, do you really think the phone could last for more than 3 days? Think carefully guys.

It cannot be so.Video playback, the indiferent of support has to do laptop, notebook, phone, etc. consumes most any battery. Currently, most battery performance to a view of only max 720p, can support a maximum of 3-4 hours.
Many retarded whatever give their opinion appear in this world and give their opinion. ..:)))
