I do have multiple phones too, but only one primary (Note 4) and sure as hell want or rather need it to have removable battery. It's my main computer, not just a phone, if it goes out during the day I'm stranded. Unstuck yourself from the age-old understanding of what a phone is/was.

I haven't found any adult having just one smartphone without a backup phone. Some of us have three. Well, since I have two, swapping battery is not so much of a problem. I could just use my other phone once the other is dead. I may swap the simcard only if urgent. I carry powerbank just in case. One phone have unremovable battery and the other vice versa.

Because a good sealed one will be mediocre in a year's time all the while you can fix mediocre battery in removable phones by having a spare on your wallet or by buying a bigger one.
God people, stop being side blinded. That was basically Samsung's argument to seal the batteries, and now after a year of constant use my S6 lasts a lot less than even a LG G3 all because of the degraded battery.
See the long run people, I deplore you, we -the consumers- are being "massacred" due to this sealed plight.

Thing is, before LG thinks of hitting Samsung under the belt, let them go back to G3 and G4, both with removable batteries and very poor battery life. I'd rather have a sealed battery with software optimization than a removable one with mediocre results.

Basically that's one of the main points of replaceable batteries. Batteries are CONSUMABLES. God! People, when you'd learn, you're being played, stop supporting them, *demand* good looking phones with replaceable batteries. That's all that Samsung had to do, not seal them!!
Thank God for S6 sales being lower than S5's, I hope they learn their lesson.

But here comes (the sizable) differences.
1) A replaceable battery is cheaper
2) (Important) it gives you instant 100%. You still have to charge your phone with your portable charger, so you actually have two things to remember to charge.
3) You can't forget to charge the battery, because everytime you change it, you put the depleted one for charging (it's often the case that you may forget to charge both the portable charger and the phone)
4) Portable charger are biiiiig. You basically need a place for them to store. A spare battery is small and slim, I typically put it in my wallet along with my credit cards. It's like it's not even there.
In short, portable chargers are useful to some people, but they only address one issue, yet create a couple more. Rechargable batteries do not have that.
Yeah, you have to buy them seperately with every phone, but you basically throw away the charger, so they (spare+battery charger) replace something that is already there, so it's not as if you get more things to care about (unlike with portable chargers).

It'd be funnier if LG were doing better in the mobile market... (Plus the G4 sucked). And LG can't make a flagship phone less than 5.5inches.

Plug in a powerbank in 1second is easier. I have a tablet and two smartphones. Why would I bother to buy spare battery for each of them while I could use one powerbank for all of them. It is more convinient. Samsung fast charging and fast wireless charging is a miracle for me too. It make charging so much faster and no need to rely on my powerbank too much. This swapping thing is a wadte of time. Turn off and on your phone and opening the phone casing then opening the rear panel. Ugghhh. Such a hassle. I rather plug-and-go style.

Well actually if you need to change the battery during the day, this is another fail. The battery has to be removabale for a painless replacement when it wears out. Doesn't mean removable itself is enough and lasting 5 hours is fine.

If a phone capable to have screen continuous on time for 15hrs or more then is no more needed for hot swap battery cause ppl need to rest too.(sleeping 8hrs.) Most phone screen time only 4 to 7 hrs. Rumors Samsung get close to it with S7. Hope is true.

You don't even have to keep swapping if you are into carrying a powerbank. You can visually inspect the battery every 6 months just to check for bulges to avoid implosion.
Batteries deteriorate. Period.
You don't need to go to a service center just to replace to a new battery, and wait for days to come back for it. What's even better is getting double-capacity ones.
Who wants to inherit the troubles of iPhone users?

I honestly think people on think they cannot live without a removable battery/expandible memory but when they don't have them they realise they can. Lg makes a great handset but it doesn't have that wow factor of other handsets. Carriers in my country don't even carry lg anymore due to low demand. It's all samsung/iphone/Nokia and heuwai.
