the things i do not like about the iphone still are the built in battery which sucks if the battery dies because you can't replace just the battery and the expensive data plan.

apple should stick only to computers.
i somewhat agree with deep space bar that the symbian OS is very versatile and advance for having variations of it. on top of that the symbian OS has more freedom.
nokia has high and mid range smartphones to accomodate people's needs.

nokia should go and develop meego OS instead of fighting with apple because apple is going up and up but nokia is loosing its market share with its old symbian OS

An meamo is like a hackers dream OS
800mhz and 48gb later with full qwerty keypad and full adobe flash on my n900 i love it

There's no reason for them to sue google, so why should they? But they have every reason to sue htc for copying their patented IP's. But, we need to give htc the benefit of the doubt and give them a chance to defend themselves. No need to be hostile like Nokia fans are towards Apple.

If Symbian is the most advanced os for mobile, why is Nokia using maemo, and now meego to power their high end devices? That is Nokia themselves deciding to use Symbian for their MID range phones, not their high end phones. What is wrong with you? I guess it's true that love is blind. Your love for Nokia has blinded you to accept some truths.

So they're kinda trying out everything. They're still at that trying out stage, while the others have already moved forward. Which means, Nokia is falling behind the competition in the high end phone category.

[deleted post]Nokia is suing Apple hoping they could get a chance to see Apple's technology. Nokia obviously has not produced an iphone killer. Not even close. So they're hoping they can either take a peek of iphone's technology and/or at least damage Apple's reputation a bit.
Apple sued HTC for the obvious reason that HTC is copying Apple's intellectual properties, from touch gestures to implementation. Unlike Nokia, Apple is not interested at all of HTC's technology. Apple is not even seeking payment from HTC. Apple just wants HTC to stop copying their ideas.
