George, 15 May 2010Why do want to swap your Desire for this???? because it got a bigger screen, Super Amoled display (which means i can use it outside in bright sunlight), it has a 8gb internal memory (which finally will fix the bloody Desire 140mb storage limit for apps), and can play divx/xvid movies even in 720p resolution, also probably the 1500mah battery will last longer than the one in Desire.

Well I to am wondering the same thing,thats a shocker.Poor old Sammy at it again good ok specks but what about the quality camera not on par with others and video stuttering??? Probably that unit is not the final version we'll give them the benefit of the doubt.One more thing, not even a led light how much cost would that have add? Gosh man!

[deleted post]Nothing revolutionary in HD video recording mate, even in cellphones , but of course you guys (apple hardcore fans) will say, after the iphone 4g comes out, that this is the biggest thing since the wheel was invented, just like every other apple product in fact.

for the amount of money,having no flash is a deal breaker whether it's trivial or not.it's simply bang for buck mentality when even lower ended Android phones out there provides the feature.i'm wondering if there's some sort of a South Korean genus of weed that they're smoking there at Samsung's RnD labs?

now this is rather dissapointing :( i'm waiting for this phone to swap it for my current HTC Desire, but it's weird how they share the same camera problems... isn't the 3gp format recording somehow a limit of the android OS? now i'm not so sure about buying the Galaxy S...

If you count details in each fps then n8 takes better video than galaxy s.

HD video recording is a main feature of this phone.
But, the video which you show happen to stutter considerably. The stills those have taken also lack on details. It brings bad taste IMHO.
Did you capture it with the production or the test unit?
