One thing in do know (I deal with insurance) Samsung customer service throughout the world ain't great, some places very bad, while Sony is top notch. It's like Samsung don't care about after sales

I will pick XIAOMI MI 5! Because Sony's service centre in Indonesia is bad,really really bad.

Anonymous, 28 Feb 2016S7 edge. Far from perfect but way better than X Performance.common is it not square/rectangle? please i suggest you give some other designs from your "book of designs". my cousin went to buy s6 edge came with note 5. he couldn't use it.

All Samsung devices work like champions, all Sony broken. Never used Xiaomi so I can't tell, but I am willing to try them this year because of the microUSB on the s7. Love AMOLEDs though.

I voted Sony, just because I love the new metal back and hate glass. Haven't seen the ceramic version of Mi5, but i think the metal would still win.

Functionality gaps are in both directions. The Sony has the old microUSB port, has no IR, is capped at 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, in the specs at GSMArena I don't see 4K video, it's heavier, etc.

All my Sony devices... moreyou may have bought a cheap sony device, like i had "sony ericson txt pro". the quality of phone was not good, but i still use their headphones. now having xperia p. qulaity means each part inside is best, the charger, the headphones, i even got nfc tags with "superb build quality", have you seen charger, headphones etc from samsung or xiomi? their, they show you "your loyalty". i accept the price difference, but no one can deny their build quality. anybody don't believe?

Of course Xiaomi wins this poll obviously. Cheaper than Sony with also high-specs. Who wouldn't take that? People will buy cheap phones from cheap brands which just as long as you have one. They just pick as long as it's cheap and has good specs but they don't recognize the branding.But, I'm having doubts about that because who would sell a high-end phone with a pretty cheap price? I am really suspicious about things like that. Sony is clearly a far better brand that is why there's extra price. Open your eyes people. Sony rocks! Xiaomi's cheap! Don't be spec sheet blind!

mi5 is one good device but sony x performance is far better because sony keeps on updating thier flagship and midranger an low end phones.Dont be fooled on paper specs see the performance in real day use.To be honest the xperia x performance is a big deal to the rivals like lg samsung etc. REMEMBER NEVER BE FOOLED ON PAPER SEE THE REAL LIFE PERFORMANCE.The sony x performance is sure one of the best devices of 2016

There's a black inner bezel even in the galaxy s6 edge,i dont think that should be a con for MI5..
