thats a bad move by lg i know that they want to get money.. surey there is people wich dont care about speed...but im a power user and i know a bout specs so ill have to buy it in the us and imported to my country because the lack of processing power and graphics ..... well any way that will be a favor due to are overpriced here.

Import cellphones at least here in Brazil is very difficul and expensive. There's a 60% Import tax, and you can not financing. It would be almost impossible to get it here. And Brazil already have one of most expensive prices in the world. To buy a S6 Edge Plus when launched, it would be necessary to work around 4 months to get it with minimum wage, for example.

They said the decision is made based on the operator of that region feedback and the currency problem there. It is pretty reasonable. People from Latin America probably couldn't even afford the "REAL" LG G5. It will be too expensive for them. And there is almost zero interest in VR device among the people there. LG did good. But for those who want the real deal can always buy it from North America.

Also in the UK we never got lg zero, lg g4s, lg g4 stylus, lg bello 2 never mind the original l bello, lg g pad ii, lg v10!, lg magna, lg stylus 2, or any of the new k series.

Yeah. They do the same sort of thing in europe, as we only got the 2gb lg g3. Also, with their budget phones, they show lots of different processor and storage combos when they reveal the phone. Europe, especially the UK, always get the worst combo, like for example 1gb ram and 8gb storage phone with a 1.2ghz quad core, whereas other countries get the same phone but with 2gb of ram, 16gb of storage and a 1.2ghz octa core. Why lg?

AnonD-487038, 27 Feb 2016and africa will get allwinner version.. its not always like that, here in south Africa i got the lame sd805 note4 when i wanted the exynos version apparently samsung always bring our market the euro variants i just hope its not the case with the s7 edge this time coz i realy intend to get it and upgrade my handset this year.

RaM matters more than CPU in phones anyway (caching > processing) .... what a terrible tragedy to also lower the ram though...
