Yeah, well, the X and the XA do not have waterproofing but do have indistinguishable difference on StBR and virtually have similar top and bottom bezel dimensions to the X Performance. If it is not for uniformity across all three variants, then I am beginning to think Sony just intentionally lovingly embraces their own habitual design (huge top and bottom bezels among all other of their series). Just like HTC already removing BoomSound speakers and black bar with their logo on it for their 10 but could not fool me for one second with their huge bottom bezel's estate surrounding their physical home button based on recent live images, then again these recent news, renders, live images, or leaks are not to be taken as the final salt but are not to be taken ever so lightly either

Hahaha yeah Xiaomi can only win on being the cheapest but Sony wins on durability which is the most important factor of all which these low end Chinese brands dont exactly know about. I still have my Xperia Neo V from 2011 with me still up and running, still have the Xperia SP from 2013 which is too up and running and still using it and im currently looking forward to buy the Z5 or rather wait for the X Performance but whatever happens, i would go for Xperia any day because it gives value to the money i pay. I know some of us think that Sony sets the price a little on the higher side, i somewhat agree to that but you buy what you love right.
P.S. if all the brands get destroyed in the world and only Xiaomi remains, i wont even buy it then instead i would take out my old K750i and would start using it lol.

And I hate brands only those who want to succeed only by copying others and have no creativity/originality of their own. Why would Xioami use curved back as in Samsung s6/s7 otherwise? I hate it! Give me something original and refreshing and take my money. Chinese or non Chinese doesn't matter that much since all phones share almost the same major components. FYI, I own Nexus 6P (a chinese phone) and simply love the way it has been designed.

Xiaomi is the big company Sony is the little one, obviously Xiaomi products are of higher quality, they're built with higher standards in mind.
My mi2s is almost 4 years old and works like it was just bought. My Sony Xperia Z is in the garbage bin, its battery gave out.

though Mi5 will be cheaper its still using a Camera Sensor by Sony. So theres no way to say that Sony sucks .the only reasony why mi phones are cheap because the labour cost is low .
Also they have a very few after sales service centres means the investmentt for service centres is low that makes it obvious to price the phone low .
