and force touch is n... moreActually Apple announced this feature almost half year before Huawei. Besides Huawei technology is inferior, they just added it based on the technology name. They didn't knew how it worked. Expect other Android OEMs to copy Apple's technology rather than Huawei's.
Funny thing is when Apple announced this technology for the first time all the iHaters were like 'This has been available on Android for years'. When they found out that Apple is using dedicated hardware they started calling it a 'gimmick'. But what can you do? Haters gonna hate.

I disagree with the idea that Apple knows best and whatever tgey do, is the best there is.
No! It is not the best for everyone!
Copying them at every little thing they do is a mistake, firstly because we accept that they are always right and because sometimes whatever fits them, dont fit us.
Mimicking everything, without filtering out whats good and whats not, only make us monkeys and we ought to be better than that!
Apple was the first to thin their mobiles from 9mm to 7mm at the expence of battery capacity, they could afford that, because they dont have multitasking, multicore cpus, high resolution screens and their users primary use their iphones to show off their financial status.
Androids cannot and should not take that path, but they did and 2015 flagships were all 7mm thin, with reduced battery capacity and lousy endurance.
And now, here we go again, another pointless feature, that everyone will adopt now, because Google pushed to vanilla OS and wont have any excuse not because of the cost and direct competitirs not having it and 2 years after Apple had, every android flagships will implement it.
This gots to stop!

Its a pointless future for android...Already much better implementations available without having to ridiculously hit the screen with force to get some additional screens to popup. In Windows 10, when you long press any list item, it pops up with option to delete or select etc...that is more than sufficient. Having preview option is not that difficult to implement in Android or Windws - definitely it does not require "force" touch....long press is sufficient

ravi4ever, 18 Apr 2016Can Apple sue on this feature? Yes No May be!They can only sue them if they use the same technology in the hardware that they patented. Or if Google uses the same code in their android OS (which is not possible)

AnonD-524751, 18 Apr 2016Lot of features for android is available but any control fo... moreApparently you haven't. If you install the Xposed framework there are lots of modules that control the power button, and you can go beyond that - I remember using it to trigger an alert mode when the phone is "shut down" (it fakes it) from the lockscreen when the password hasn't been entered. It then takes regular pictures, uploads them, alerts me by e-mail, activates the GPS and constantly allows me to track it. Also locks the phone and I am able to delete data remotely if I want to. You should check out Xda develipers and learn the true power of Android, without it Android is no better than iOS
