Looks like Apple have released the new itouch - Front facing camera for Skype calling, a great upgrade to the past generations... Now all they need is a radio antenna and this would have made a great phone :P

[deleted post]When I hate someone, it means he attacked me or did something that upsets me. Apple didn't do anything of that for me because I don't use their products. I just know when I'm ripped off so I don't buy their products and advice people with my opinion about it. If u dnt want the advice u can just leave it. I'm not gaining or losing anything just advising.
And about Apple fans, they r loyal to Apple and ofcourse this type of news makes me sympathize them, because I knew this from before, since I got my 3GS I knew that this device doesn't define communication for me and while its called a phone it acted more like a multimedia device more like a mini tablet.

Last time I've checked, my dad's old RAZR V3 gets better coverage than his current 3Gs in some locations. Don't tell me the "awesome" iPhone 4 is worse than that.

Wouldn't this kind of follow what gsmarena said. When they held the bottom left spot in a good signal area, the reception dropped but the calls didn't. Doesn't explain the dropout in poor reception areas though.

i never thought a company this big and prominent(apple) would go this "low", first name DROPPING NAMES of competitors just to "pacify" thier nobel prize stupidity for reception/signal problems, second, getting to use peoples hard earn money with something that doesnt even work decently more would tell you on how to hold it (iphone4)..lets face it guys what are mobile phones for? to communicate(if you have a problem and needs someone to talk to,EMERGENCY,to keep in touch,for work) now how would we do all of these we cannot do because of very poor reception/signal...
common guys..im no iphone hater..im just being true to myself and just being in touch with reality.

Actually, if you read the review, clutching the wifi antenna apparently "boosts" the wifi signal.

Good Lord.... Apple really think Iphone fans are that dumb? They are promising a software update to fix a hardware issue that is built into the metal conductors around the phone. Really Apple, who actually buys that sorry excuse? It's not even technically possible.
All Apple is doing is playing smart to save money by avoiding people returning truckloads of Iphones to the stores.
First they are trying to be understanding and tell you to go back with your iPhone for a full refund if you are not happy, then tell you to wait for the "magical" software from candy dream land, which is obviously "scheduled" for release right after the 30 days when people can no longer get a refund for their phones, how convenient Steve.
Apple are sneaky to the point of being common con artists nowadays... For the first time in my life i actually feel sorry for the fans that actually believe in Apple and are loyal.
