What's even more saddening in this issue is that the iSheep will still blindly support Apple no matter what people say, thus giving the company the reason (and the money) to create more iSpinoffs of everything they make, just to satisfy their fanboys and generate more revenue.

I'm with GSMArena.
Poor and lame excuse from Apple. They thought all people are stupid enough to buy their "official statement". Too arrogant to admit that they have blundered this time.

The Antenna design is forced by the requirements of the FCC and is so not Apples fault:)

How hypocritic! And i'm glad to see gsmarena finally say smthn bad about apple , coz havnt seen dat lately, lol!
poor iphone owners, they paid such a lot to get this but see how they are treated! The fault is with apple, they should @least treat customers with respect!!!!!!!! :(((((

I for 1, don't own an IPhone. Never did...
First thing that threw me off was the insanely huge figure just to get one, and to top things off, i also found out the fact that there are restrictions when you use one (such as bluetooth file sharing / pairing). Might be a small issue for some but hey, a lot of people out there actually find it very convenient to pair with other devices and share files with each other....considering they're different brand users...save IPhone...
and of course, this was the first ever generation of the IPhone i am talking about...and man, did they pull it off this time.
now with this kind of an issue, many of you people say that 1.7 million units sold in 3 days and blah blah this blah blah that...which proves what? REVENUE!!! and this is a REVENUE for the company who made it. As for those 1.7 million people who purchased the units, I WOULD BET as much that they have secondary phones...AND OF DIFFERENT BRANDS! Point being, people have never been PERFECTLY SATISFIED at all!
Question, how do you rectify an issue where you are, on almost every aspect of CONNECTING WITH PEOPLE (hence: THE MOBILE PHONE was invented for convenience), restricted with the unit that prevents you from connecting to another unit just because it's another brand?
ANSWER: buy another unit with another brand! At least you have your IPhone4...that you can show-off anytime...and at the same time you have another unit to satisfy your connectivity concerns!
but nah...i won't ever buy an iphone, not even if it's the last mobile phone provider in the world...
don't get me wrong, i like the design...pity with all the restrictions...I know you all could picture out what i mean...

well.. here comes the iphone 4gs (generation 4 with signal) oh wait its xmas.. iphone 4ggs (generation 4 with 4g services) signals will be fix on the next iphone 5.. yeah here come another billions of revenues

Hater or not, iPhone owner or not, everyone has to admit that the way Apple have handled the situation is totally outrageous. How naive can people be? If you don't have the reception signal it does not mean the issue does not exist. If it didn't then Apple would not have made two public statements about it.
"Stunned," honestly? How could have they or AT&T missed this since the first iPhone? So you are telling me AT&T is worse than people originally thought? I haven't heard AT&T agreeing with Apple's findings.
And how coincidental of them to release their first official "case" for an iPhone which ironically only covers the antenna. Come on people. I currently own the iPhone 4 and don't have major antenna issues with it but even I have to say that this is just too much. I really felt disgusted by the time I finished ready their statement. It's not even funny anymore. This is beyond pathetic and shameful. If you even still feel the need to defend Apple for their actions I really don't see any other explanation then to say that you are sheep.

Apple should pay for their smart frauds and adding a wrong competition.
Apple could play a good rolemodel but they are going after money like greedy ho's. They could earn greater respect with their ideas but NO, they want more, they want to be called the "God" and exactly it is what goes right up their greedy open as-ses big time.

But yes of course, they will get away because it seems there are more mindless iFreaks still out there. Not admit to accept that Apple is a bad company, Steve is playing good to empty their pockets by giving them fake crowns.

When i watch the live talk of the iphone 4 by Mr. Steve Job. While he presented the casing structure where the three signal anthenas was. I was wandering will it obstruct the signal when using making a call when holding it on a palm. Apple can't say that we are holding it the wrong way. They should consider when designing where to locate the signal anthena. I guess they may have miss this when designing and fail to detect on the finish product testing. Apple suggest to hold it in different way...i think maybe it works when we are not talking on the phone but when we are using the applications. So much efforts has been put in and come out with this latest phone, when a small and simple mistake is made, it could jeoperdise Apple image and reputation.I do really hope Apple can come with a solution soon as I am going to have one here in Spore soon....otherwise may have to give up .

not even thier CEO/chairman would have the sense of responsibility to admit thier shortcomings/wrongdoings.
where in fact they sugar coat, they pacify, they make us (SPECIALLY CURRENT iphone4 OWNERS)look stupid and naive.
we know this iphone4 has a MAJOR PROBLEM..admit it steve!!! and do something about it!!!!

1.7 million buyer that is being told on how to handle thier phone..
YES all mobile phone company do have a "bug" in whatever gravity that may be...
but APPLE.. not foreseeing the "BUG" for thier latest mobile phones reception/signal..i think that is just plain dumb!! reception/signal is very very important in a mobile phones performance overall.
