Besides , its all Rumors , Nvidia has not released the full specs of 1070 yet , Only the 1080 which is crazy fast (twice GTX 980 speed)
That site info is wrong .
My Guess is that the GTX 1070 is twice the speed of GTX 970 (close to GTX 980 ti)

Well...it's a good option. Better performance than Titan X for less money. Memory is a bit worse, 8GB 256bit vs 12GB 384bit, but this should hardly be a problem. I'm just thinking, why NVIDIA is so stuck on 256bit and 384bit memory? Why the can't upgrade it to 512bit like AMD? They honestly lost me with GTX970. I was a long NVIDIA supporter, but with that scandalous 970 release and its 3.5GB + 500MB slower memory (which actually showed on GTA V), they lost me on that. Hiding facts like that really rises an eyebrows. So I sold it and went for R9 390X, especially because I want to support Vulkan initiative. F**k Microsoft and its DX12 exclusivity BS.

At the moment Titan X (for a personal use) is an overkill, and this card is supposed to be faster (with slightly worse memory option 8GB 256bit vs 12GB 384bit). But trust me, if you run your games on single monitor in 1080p, you won't see any difference (and you'll save up a lot of money).

Herodroid, 08 May 2016can anyone tell me if its worth upgrading my gt 430 to this... moreCsgo is CPU heavy not GPU. I have a gtx460 and get around 240-300 fps with almost everything on high, 1366*768. Only upgraded CPU from a i3 to an i5, I used to get 60-110.

can anyone tell me if its worth upgrading my gt 430 to this new card?? cuz i feel a bit slow already, running cs go at 1920x1080 minimal graphics with 45 fps, so will gtx 1080 run csgo high at 1080p display without lag?
