Apple fan boys are finally seeing the error of their ways. Believing the stupid masses and Iphones over hyped adverts worked. Till now that is.
There presentations are full of paid people that wow and cheer but its all a pack of lies.
Their poor products are finally becoming clear to many users. Welcome to the mobile phone world with new eyes. Now you see how we do. There is a huge range of phones so much better than the "ihpone" fanboy phone.

Obviously, Apple is still a computer company, NOT a phone company that understands radio/antenna basics.

i wonder how steve believes that we are going to pay a fortune of money for iphone 4 knowing that it officially has a reception problem when you touch it. I finally made my desision will go for n8, at least i will be able to hold that phone. I was an big iphone fan but i will see the next gen iphones in order to go back to apple mobile. They knew from the begining it was an antenna design and they continue wrong... big fail

This is expected if you studied the history of Apple as a company. They are not an engineering powerhouse, even their much-hyped product designs, unknown to their ardent fanb0is, is outsourced to third-party industrial design outfits like Frog. Apple is only good at marketing with their Reality Distortion Field©®, with a big help from the largely-ignorant, insular-minded mainstream US media which always likes to champion one of their own companies.

Remember that Steve Jobs is nothing more than a salesman, he's not a programmer nor an engineer. The real technical brains behind Apple was co-founder Steve Wozniak, who doesn't work for Apple now yet stil gets a fat paycheck from them. This explains the arrogance, defensiveness, and overhype from Steve Jobs. He's selling a dream lifestyle idea, not an electronics gadget. This is how the phrase "Reality Distortion Field" was coined, and it is forever attributed to Apple and its products. So everytime a non-technical gadget-collecting fanb0i buys an overpriced, overhyped but under-spec'ed product, that's a victory for the marketing department of Apple, aided in no small way by the US mass media which, quite expectedly, is "jingoistic" and insular when it comes to defending their own homegrown companies and products.

Attacking the other smart phones was an absolutely disgrace. Even more when it's a lie. I have a Omnia II and did hold the phone in every possible way, and I didn't lose even 1 bar.

I was about to laugh when Steve Jobs says that iphone is the best smartphone. LOL LMAO ROFL. Don;t say its the best smartphone, instead the beast smartphone where it is a horrible for Apple. and the best of all, the best smartphone to loss its signal very quick!
apparently, they release their multitasking when iOS 4 launched while Symbian was the first to pioneer multitasking. >_<

When Steve demo iP4 to the public on stage, the phone FAILED in front of him! The FaceTime FAILED! On his own hand! Can't he see the WARNING already? The phone FAILED during live demo! Yet he ignored the message sent by the iP4!
Now the antenna and proximity sensor issues. All these are HARDWARE failure... he should have seen it already. Both the design and hardware quality are not to Apple standard anymore.... They are loosing their "fans" day-by-day... including me!!!!

If Apple wasn't so concerned about their stock and actually cared for their customers then they would have offered a real solution for the antenna issue although I didn't expect them to recall it.
It is a fact that all phones lose signal when gripped a certain way but he should have admitted that the iPhone 4 is prone to such an issue since it's antenna is on the outside. But it's business first so they offer a convenient rubber band that only covers the antenna to remedy the so called non-issue.
iPhones boasts the highest profit margins of any Apple product so why as a customer should you stand for the way they have handled this issue. They have had more than enough time to manufacture the iPhone since they only release one every year and considering the 3gs wasn't much of an upgrade then you can say they had more than a year. Why does it take three weeks to handle a non-issue and why hold a conference for a non-issue that affects all consumers and less than 1% of Apple users?
It's really disappointing how they continue to handle all this. If they are confronted with what is essentially a real problem than they would be forced to fix it and offer what can only be a better and greater product. But this is Apple and this probably the end of this. If there is nothing wrong with the design then we should all expect the same design next year as they and all of us customers know its a superior design.
