No phone is perfect, yes. But having to put a 'phone' into a case to keep the signal is not a weak point but a total disaster. Steve Jobs should shut his bad smelling mouth... or use one of those cases and put it on his mouth to act as a filter... It stinks!!!

I wonder what other miscalculations under Apple's umbrella. even the iPad screen size also a miscalculation. i hope those Apple workers (aka slaves) knows their pay check every month is not miscalculation as well. A new Apple tagline = Apple is best at miscalculation, again.....lol

as gsmarena so rightly point out its not 0.55% facing the issues its 100%,its a design fault so every model is the same and every model effected,every model needs a big bumper

another miscalculation by Apple. It's not 0.55% but 99.45% iPhone 4 users are facing these issues. those iPhone techy needs a simple Maths class before producing any product, including Mr Steve...lol...

0.55% of 3,000,000 users may have an issue,
Of those most would be holding it stupid or be no reception zones
anyway, so probably 0.02% could be almost real issues
Shame the lies were taken up by the media

A QUESTION! Why is every hater, the media, bloggers, gizmodos and the likes all ignoring the people who are not experiencing any problems? 0.55% out of over 3 million have made complaints about this signal issue, wouldn't the percentage be a lot more if this was a major problem? Again I say this is hardly a crisis.
The rate of complaints about the Nokia N97 was much much greater yet I never heard no one calling for the phone to be recalled.
The search for that Iphone killer has proved elusive so the only option that remains is to go all out and try to be the Iphone Killers yourselves by exaggerating the problems being experienced by a few users and spreading malicious rumours. Well! Good luck coz just like all the so called iphone killers that have been released but failed you all shall fail.

The main two fundamental things people want in a phone above all else is a great battery and good reception. the iphone models could never offer the battery part,now it cant offer reception either. Charging huge sums more than competitors with out these two fundamentals and only having a slight better screen is in this day and age outrageous.
Its seems from the general response across the board this is one insult to far from apple

People don’t really care because the phones are still selling like hot cakes. Not only that, but other phones have the EXACT same problem. And it only affects less than one percent of all iPhone 4s anyway. Still, we love our customers so much we are giving them al free cases. Any questions?

We [iphone4 fans united forums] know and accept new hardware can take time to settle in. Stay strong and loyal fans, no other manufacture
would put on an impressive display to stop these lies about all
iphones4 having a signal problem.
And as Steve said every phone has a weak spot, Apple are honest and not hiding.

this is the result of short testing stage of the iphone4. they've just start shipping it after a few weeks from announcing it.. unlike nokia N8.. poor apple..
