LOL.....this is jokes...Mr job is stupid to compare other companies with apple...apple just kicked in couple of years ago, just because iphone was a big hit doesn't mean they criticize other companies, especially HTC and RIM or perhaps even NOKIA.....because they have far better knowledge of producing better cellphones than Apple. And when it comes to prices apple rips the prices...for what? poor performance? popularity (from ipod productions)?....nothing in the phone holds actual features other than app downloads, where as HTC and other companies have phones with excellent software features. This is just an antenna issue....soon people will get annoyed with the "unlocking" phenomenon of iphone which is very ANNOYING...

Apple iPhone4 revolutionary device.....iThink NOT !!
Facetime like you've never seen before (LIES)"In 2003, 3 mobile launched the UK's first video mobile network to bring new and better services to the mobile media market."....See family and friends while you talk to them. No other phone makes staying in touch so much fun....what fun?... looking for a wifi hot spot to make a vidcall lol
What's the different between an iTouch(32gb) and an iPhone4(32gb)?
Secondary camera & £365..... they both can't make calls lol
All hail Steve iMight Lose my Job or Steve iDont care about my loyal customers.

richard, 19 Jul 2010HTC HD2 also has bar issue, it will drop down 1 bar if you ... morePhones aren't perfect that's true and everyone know that; but ignoring customer's complain and put the whole square back to the buyer are NOT the appropriate way to solve the problem!!! People are mad of Apple not because they made mistake, all because they IGNORE their customer and act like NOTHING is wrong with the phone! Not to mention they compare other reputable devices less worthwhile than the iPhone thats bull crap for Steve Jobs to say. HE NEEDS TO APOLOGIZE.

That's one thing people HATE about Apple: they defend themselves by talking others less worthwhile. Remember the MAC/PC commercials? Totally ignorant and it only has been used by cheap local commercials, I just can't imagine why Apple would do shiit like that. AND the iPhone 4 leak drama: free advertisement... Why?
Good job @ Samsung and Motorola.

bricked, 19 Jul 2010The 3GS is coming down in price, and it's a very good phone... moreThe 3gs probably wont come down in price as apple just dont do price reductions, you will more than likely see the 16 and 32gb phones dissapear! Although i do agree with the fact that the 3gs is a better phone. I think its time to look to other companies for better phones, like the samsung galaxy or xperia x10.

Reality distortion field (RDF) is a term coined by Bud Tribble at Apple Computer in 1981, to describe company co-founder Steve Jobs' manipulative marketing propaganda and its effects on the developers working on the Mac project. Later the term has also been used to refer to perceptions of his keynote (or Stevenote) by observers and devoted users of Apple computers and products (iFanb0is).
Bud Tribble claimed that the term came from Star Trek.
In essence, RDF is the idea that Steve Jobs is able to convince himself and others to believe almost anything with a mix of charm, charisma, bluster, exaggeration, marketing, appeasement, and persistence. RDF is said to distort an audience's sense of proportion or scales. Small advances are applauded as breakthroughs. Interesting developments become turning points, or huge leaps forward. Impossible-seeming schedules, requirements or specifications are acceded to. Snap judgments about technical merits of approaches are sometimes reversed without acknowledgment. Those who use the term RDF contend that it is not an example of outright deception but more a case of warping the powers of judgment. The term "audience" may refer to an individual whose attitudes Steve is intending to affect.
Often the term is used as a derogatory remark to criticize Apple's products and its more enthusiastic fans.
The term has extended in industry to other managers and leaders, who try to convince their employees to become passionately committed to projects, sometimes without regard to the overall product or to competitive forces in the marketplace. It also has been used with regard to hype for products that are not necessarily connected with any one person.

Anonymous, 19 Jul 2010Some people have compared the reaction of Toyota and that o... moreHi,
I really agree with you. First I must say that I'm not Japanese, and the only japanese I could say is Koniciwa.
I think Toyota show us a very good culture. They take a hit, and some kick Toyota butt. but after that, we could trust the toyota brand again. I saw on the TV that japanese political man sometimes resign if they perform poor. In these regard, I give the japanese 4 thumbs up.
And I'm very to say that Apple really represent a bullish American culture. They won't admit wrongdoing. Just like GM/Ford/Crysler. When they say they develop new engine that were more fuel efficient, they just do a direct injection that already been done by the japanese, korean and german. What a shame.
I really think that american company is really in deep sh*t. The double dip recession might become a triple dip recession.

elsergio, 19 Jul 2010I've always wanted an iPhone. And Im gonna buy one, but obv... moreThe 3GS is coming down in price, and it's a very good phone if you don't miss all the bells and whistles of a high end device. It even runs the new iphone 4 OS like a dream, and has no bugs.
If you use things like bluetooth, camera, and are a sucker for free ringtones then it's not for you. Wait for some of the new Android handsets that are coming out in the next few months. They will be awesome with 2.1. Or get the N900's successor if you can wait that long.
Avoid Symbian 3 like the plague for at least a year.

It own't get hang up but still show many phone now day cut corner to make slim factor meantime may affect antenna when hold, they need to design the antenna put at top since is not likely you would hold phone that way unless you watching movie.
