if nokia make some changes in design and looks, then this phone is perfect! 5mp is fine but need a better camera sensor for both cameras

OHREALLY, 25 Aug 2010common nokia right now you should bring out a phone with 1.... moreLol the symbian 3 is not limited with apps like the previous 1. It is har to make apps for symbians but not symbian 3. N8 has a symbian 3 n it is not even released yet.

I got N97 for my wife and N900 for myself! She will be using it for a long time. I think "obsolete" is only in the eyes of media. Isn't it wonderful to have choices? There'll something for everyone.

[deleted post]Mobil1, well said. Although the momentum is working in favor for Android, Nokia is not stop innovating. Android and iOS may rule the US market for now but for how long? How many apps can one use? There're more apps for my N900 than I know what to do with. I've been using video call on my wife's N97 (through Fring) for a while now. N900 also has Skype video call feature built in. And this was released in 2009! Oh, how about Skype over 3G on E71!

Personally, I think the N9 is a great phone based on the "leaked" specs. My issue with Nokia is the ever changing flagship. They hyped up the N8 and had it available for pre-order, then announce this. REALLY! Over $500 for the N8 and it will be obsolete within a couple of months.

I think 4" screen is just perfect. 4.3" is a bit too big, imo. I looked at the Galaxy S and did not like the way it feels in my hands. It feels like a toy. The Droid X also did not feel right. If I want any thing larger than 4" I would go for a 7"+ tablet. Nokia, how about a Meego tablet? Please build it.

I cannot wait for this to come out. OS should be better than Android for sure and hardware specs should be up there with the best and better in some. (hdmi, 64GB etc) Brushed alumnium body and well spaced out HW keyboard is just awesome.

I want one! I just replaced my E71 with N900 and I love them both. Whatever the final spec will be I will get one. If the user experience on N900 is any indication (some tweaking required), N9 will be an awesome device! I can even use Skype voice call on 2.5G on AT&T network. For the camera, I set it at 3.5 mega pixel. I did not even need 5.0. I'm exciting for Nokia! To be successful in the US market, unfortunately, Nokia will have to partner with the carriers. None of my friends and co-workers know that Nokia smart phones exist. I'll be getting an E73 Mode at work. So I won't miss my E71 that much. Although, it's one of the best phones out there.

common nokia right now you should bring out a phone with 1.5ghz and 512mb ram with powervr sgx540 and why meego is it multi touch?????
why not symbian ^3 or ^4 or ^5 surprise us unfortuantly you didnt nokia sucks,...and yes i better go for galaxy s becuase its os has many apps than this dump ass crap nokia n9 lol nokia used to be a great phone company today samsung is better and its not only a phone company they should be ashamed because they are only produce phones and samsung does everything tvs mp3's toaster lol n8 lame n9 more lame whats next n10 will be 80gb ??? its a big fall as the 32gb n97 im done //..sorry for my language

Do you know guys nokia is going to make a phone with 3D hologram. Nokia is making new technology for world. Other all using them making profit.
Nokia is targeting to make this 3D hologram phone in 2013. It's bit long but one day Nokia will do it.
