Well, i would say the Sony is far beter! The quality is AMAZING! I would say one should upgrade from the K750 to the K800, not just for the picture quality, but also for the 3G, Video Calling ... I have always been a samsung fan, but this sony has got my vote!!

These are the facts: SE has better camera , battery life and the best mp3 player.
Nokia has the relaibility and the OS.
IMO Nokias are far too big and SE too square.
All goes down to taste. Im a SE fan so ill vote for the K800.

Well for someone who has tested both devices, I can honestly say the SE K800 is better but the only reason for this is because the Nokia N73s camera is fully operable in the initial first s/w drop, so how can you compare?

Thia comparision is unrealistic, bcz N80 has arrived announced n june 2005,but K800 has yet to come.Weight, batterylife hangs and software update r going to wreck N80.SE ia an Electronic giant incorporating all cybershot features n its K800.U bet that an N82 or N85 is emminent to remove all problems.Nokia does only assemble by taking samsung TFTs Yamaha speakers and taiwan hardware in a phone. But SE assembles most of its parts by itself fr screen to hardware but may be another country China prob,,,,,,,

While the K800 has a better cam , the N80 has a better video mode . In overall I give the N80 my vote . Just because it has Symbian , and with this huge plus the K800 is no match for it . But , I must say I so anxious to see a deep review of the so-fresh N73 with its autofocus cam ...SE may got the pole position in the past , but now Nokia seems it is ready to take the lead ...lets see a review first...

"If you look at the pictures you will notice that it says "3 megapixels" on the Nokia lens and "3.2 MP" on Sony Ericsson - it's just a matter of marketing, the two cameras have exactly the same resolution - 2048 x 1536 pixels, or 3.15 megapixels." just to quote the review for those who are saying that they dont have the same megapixels.

I like the nokia for it's magnificent camera, but the sheer size and poor battery life break the deal. The form is also stupid. My favorite part about the w800 is the amazing battery life, and while the k800 is not as lasting as the W, it still beats the nokia N-Series phones, which if you didn't notice tend to have the worst battery of today's high-tech phones.

Now the n93 is the real issue. It is being released around the same time as the k800/k790, and it really gives the k800 a run for its money. Am I willing to shed half my battery life, double my weight and size, lose the xenon... for a crazy-good videocamera, WiFi, and sweet form (the laptop-esque flip)? Honestly, I don't know. the n93 and k790 is a tough toss-up for me, but the i wouldn't even consider the n80.

The real test should be against the N73 and the K800 IMO.

the k800 has the better image...even the diference is not to semnificative. anyway i`ll vote for the k800 even the n80 has better video camera. i'm still w8ing for SE vga cameras. p.s: SE rulzzz ... it's true nokia is like the bmw cars but SE is the real mercedes...and god created mercedes to do cars! good luck SE :)

This is between the N80's Camera and video VS K800's camera ans video. Knowing that the K800 won, both were close except for the night shot and the close up and the indoor ones where the noise was evident.
N93 won't beat K800 3X optical lmao, picture quality decreases when you zoom, as for the carl zeiss and auto focus, those where on the n90 which also lost to w800 so now that its 3.2 mp don't expect it to beat SE 3.2 mp. As for the video i don't work for warner brothers so i don't really care about video as much as the camera.

For people who think that Carl Zeiss lenses in N93 makes the difference, dont hope that photo quality in N93 are better than K800. Remerber the N90 with Carl Zeiss lenses, the more cheaper and lighter K750 simply takes the best pictures of 2MP camera phones.
The interesting part in N93 is optical zoom and video recording at 30fps in VGA resolution, but this means that mediocre Symbian S60 run very slow with a lot of bugs

Ok , SE is better , but ONLY for pictures. Videos, mobile management and everything is better with nokia.
Just wait out to see nokia N93 pictures with Carl and autofocus!!

Please please please! Let's keep the comparison between the nokia n80 and SE k800 strictly on camera. The SE takes a slightly better image than the NOKIA BUT THE NOKIA IS SO FAR AHEAD IN VIDEO QUALITY.so those of us that like our special moments in motion will find that a treat. We mustn't forget that the SE is 3.2 mp while the nokia is a 3mp so we should waite for n73 with a 3.2 mp. And we must never bring sentimentalism in by comparing the N80 with k800i generally. We must keep to the camera. In other phone features, the k800 might not just be in existence where the n80 is concerned. If the n80 is a 10 story building, the k800 is a mere 1 Where general phone features is considered.

N80 is not the direct competitor of SE's K800. The 3.2 MP battle will be between N73 and K800. Both have AF, 3.2 Mp and others. None of them are released yet.
