Jealousy makes you nasty!!! No matter how hard other manufacturers have tried and the great devices they have seen bringing out, they still cant topple nokia, even together, ive read all the reviews of it so far and they really dont give the N8 the credit it deserves, some of the criticisms were ridiculous, there are millions of us loyal nokia fans, and your unfair and bias reviews and criticisms will never persuade us, the only one who's review was fairly decent enough was techradar, but long live nokia, this will just make them bigger and grow stronger, android, I-phone and blackberry might be winning the battle for now, but i promise you nokia will win the War!!!

These people are out of their minds,, Iphone 4 has prooblems with reception which is the basic functionality of a phone and they compare it with nokia n8. It can't send music, photos, videos and they call it smatrphone :P :P
OK they can compare it to HTC that is actually a brand that is making efforts but NOKIA IS NUMBER 1 REMEMBER THAT!!! (Nokia is selling smartphones as much as HTC, Blackberry and Apple combined :P )

I am waiting for this Cell Phone since the day it was announced way back in April.
Since the day it is shipped, i am tracking the reviews of each site and truly speaking I am waiting for final review from two site one of them is GSMArena as i believe in the unbiased opinion.
Since 30th Sept, i have read more than 100 reviews, compared more than 100 photos and watched nearly 20-30 videos on N8.
In one of the reviews on 30th Sept they said that Nokia battery died in 2 days. If Nokia started shipping of there product on 30th Sept and they are the ones who claim to get it first then how 2 Day battery test done???
There are many biased reviews going on around this Smartphone and compared to phones existing in market.
I agree with the comments of GSMArena and this device should get fair chance and comparison.
Nokia Fans out there.. go buy it. I myself like this phone and would buy it after GSMArena review and one more review.

This is not my comment, but this was posted as somewhere else and it was so good, and makes exactly my point also:
I really think this review suffers from the bias that Android and iPhone lovers just can't help in themselves.
You don't like Symbian^3 because you don't get it, and you don't get it because you've become dumbed down by iPhone and Android. Which is a shame.
You've also clearly rushed the review, not giving proper time to try out the features and see the real power behind the OS. Technically Symbian beats the pants off it's competitors, it's vastly more efficient (hence the great battery life) and multitasks incredibly. S^3 is not the old S60, it's a radical rebuild.
Most of those who actually use Symbian normally think it's incredible and find Android or iPhone like a baby's toy. Personally I need more from a device.
What's really a shame is how you feel obliged to put out a negative review re: the OS because it's unfashionable to like Symbian. You've given in to peer pressure, and that's just sad and lame.
But I'll remind you of something - with only the old version of Symbian, Nokia managed to increase sales globally by 35%+ last year, and increase smartphone market share too (still the largest by a long way). Meanwhile the oh-so-great iPhone continually lost market share.
I would advise people interested in the N8 to take into account multiple reviews from general tech sites like this one, and from Symbian-specific sites that actually know what they're talking about, e.g. AllAboutSymbian (not afraid to give a bad review if it's deserved but actually have a clue about the devices they're reviewing).
I actually do believe you are incapable of liking Symbian full stop, unless it became a clone of iPhone/Android, and that's just sad.

Somehow are the other Nokia can't seem to have courage to go away from this obsolete symbian. And this very attitude of theirs is going to sink their name. Why would anybody pay this much amount of money just to have a pathetically slow symbian based device. When you have superfast HTC Desire and samsung galaxy S readily available, would you be wise enough to go for symbian and that too at this much cost. Surely seems as if Nokia have lost their brains.
