lets compare this with a race from 1990
      Google-Android
      Nokia-symbian
      sony-typical os
      samsung-typical os

      nokia-----------
      apple.
      sony---
      samsung--
      ********************************************
      nokia---------Symbian-----5800-----
      apple------------ios-----
      sony-----using android---
      samsung----using android---
      ********************************************
      nokia----------------------5800-----97------n8---
      apple------------3g-----3gs----4--
      sony-----using android---------
      samsung----using android-------

A race is going on and suddenly Apple brings their latest phone to race where as the other racer is not yet ready and takes the lead
then nokia brings iphone killer 5800 which made the apple company to release iphone 3gs
      mean while
we all know how much symbian is stable how much it is capable of its the best os ever made for mobile phones
ios its new trendy but is it dependable?
Android same new trendy but is it dependable?
Nokia brought touch screens long like 7700 but no one gave +response to that's why it never made touch screens
Suddenly there came a new phone by apple and every is like its the best?(ask them to make some keypad phones)
and android they are still wondering which os will be the final os
      1.5/1.6/2.1/2.2/3/4/5/6
      blah blah
Nokia is the best manufacturing in mobiles and satisfies all kinds of people in all ranges
Every is like observing the processor speed but not able to see the other features hdmi/12m/usb/16gb etc
what ultimately matters is phone works faster for u or no
cant nokia afford 1ghz processor?? common let them try with lower processor then in future the will use higher
And Nokia provides so many updates for the user i just love it
i have used Ngage qd/N95/5800/sony ericsson satio /sony ericsson xperia mini.

      Ngage qd was rocking phone
      N95 was awesome
      5800 was a killer
Satio was shit they have not even updated kinetic scrolling in the menu till now and they announcing we will stop symbian why dont they just agree that they are incapable to handle symbian
Xperia mini i liked it still not worth.Still sony not able to bring update it has been almost 5months to update to 2.1
where as nokia Every time they update...
      and thanks Gsmarena u rocks \m/ G \m/

GSMArena has always been known to be "playing safe" when reviewing a phone. Like when you've said that the Nokia 6700 was one of the best 5mp snapper out there, but when I actually did get it...I realized it wasn't on par with SE C901. So there...

It's because N8 has NO tap to focus is the reason why I get shaky pics using it's touch screen to capture. I'm sure if the N8 gets it, it will be good. 'till then I'll just use the shutter button for pictures.

Originalas, 03 Oct 2010Well nobody cares.. if N8 pictures are crappier every time ... moreIt's a 2-stage shutter button. This is on most cameras. You press it lightly to focus, then complete the press to take the picture fully. Tapping on the screen to take a picture is not a good way in my opinion. I've tried it out and I get shaky pics. That's probably the reason there. But taking pictures with the shutter button is much easier IMO.

12 MP, 4000x3000 pixels, Carl Zeiss optics, autofocus, Xenon flash

From the zip files from Engadget, they say both 4000x3000 and 4000x2248. This means that the settings of the camera allow for changing the pixel size. It's probably for wide angle shots and 9MP mode focus.

Well nobody cares.. if N8 pictures are crappier every time in every comparison. Maybe it's the shutter button problem, that you can't press it without shaking the phone and etc. like with many old models same problems over and over again..
