Nokia need to fix up. They keep using the slowest cpu which causes ther fones to run like sh!t. The last nokia i had was a N95 and again the had all these features but a slow cpu so it just moved like crap. Some of u seem to be fan boys and just saying wotever sounds good to back your favourite phone company but the truth is nokia need to fix up and fix up fast!

How many apps do you use a day? What is the need for an app if what it is supposed to do is default in the phone?
By the way, try looking for app 183 in a grid containing 300 apps and see how stupid your iphone makes you look.

you don't need to download an app to do... moreso did S60 and so is symbian 3 (S60v5 yup this is fifth version so why not call it like that )
UIQ was much better than even this S60 but it was only on high end SE's with high price tag due to no commpetition
if SE had produced more phones with it
it would have been great not this crappy copy(yup original UIQ was first symbian OS on first touch screen smartphone Ericsson some R series)

why are you android users so worried? I mean if symbian and the N8 sucks then no one will buy them right? So , who do you even bother going to every N8 article to convince people about how android is better? Could it be a sense of insecurity?
Come on, an insignificant Nokia branded device like the N8 could not be worthy of a post from a supposedly superior android fan right?

symbian will always be tad ahead of its copy cats droids nd ios unles nokia wants to stop with it. a warrior symbian which has gone to war nd come nd removn his armoury is fearsome than android ios which r game starters. up n8 straight to the top hehe!

To be honest I am considering the n8 as well as the samsung vibrant, but the battery life and camera of the vibrant kinda set me back a little.

linux is open source and fully customizble get your crap straight
windows need high specs just to run properly and still messes up sometimes
just like android
windows can't run proper on 1ghz like linux
just like how android can run on 680mhz like symbian
the device is good
stop hating
maemo is nice and that's as far as i'll go since i own the N900
and it's still lighter then Android and more versitile as well
