If you already checked the review, you would know that the Nokia N8 is the best cameraphone available by a wide margin. But it turns out that there's even more potential locked inside that smartphone...

Look n8 night shot outdoor for video. ITs shutter speed is so slow that framerate becomes laggy.

    Lol, that makes no sense. Even if the interface isn't as pretty, it doesn't make the camera shots bad; Camera =/= interface. If the camera can still take impressive stills and video, what difference does it make? You are grasping for straws.

      n8 has out in uk at vodafone. I went to launch event, and haha no one in q to get one. Indeed not even more than 10ppl in q to enquire about phone. That's how popular n8 in reality. :)))

          i can get better detail with normal compression on iph4. I must admit n8 has larger resolution though. But, megapixel ain't anything if camera ui is so outdated.

                          I have tried other o/s but always end up back with nokia and symbian,ad infinitum..My biggest sadness is this rather pathetic ifone crazed race that EVERY manufacturer is doing is just ruining creativity,the shop walls are strewn with screens with maybe wannabe ifones,,forget it guys apples done so bring out something of your own ie clamshell with buttons that can work in the real world.

                                NvS, 13 Oct 2010@GSMArena That N8 review is almost objective except i c... moreShame, are you a little upset that GSM Arena was objective in their review and did not slam the N8 and Symbian^3 as much as you were hoping they would?

                                Remember most of what you have read before was based on pre-release versions of the firmware and it was these reviews that the naysayers were happy to jump all over and claim "victory" (not sure what the battle is really about - my phone is better than you phone?). The final firmware seems to be showing vast improvements over previous versions. Remember not everyone is an Android or iOS fan boy and those of us who like Symbian are very pleased to hear about the improvement.

                                As stated before if you don't like Symbian then by all means do not buy this phone.

                                    That N8 review is almost objective except i can't say i'm with you when you're saying :

                                    You might notice that the homescreen starts scrolling only after you have completed your swipe across the screen but that’s how it was designed and not some lag. Because of the fact that some widgets are side-scrollable the handset waits to see if you want to browse them or skip to the next screen.

                                    After looking at the video,i take that as a bug in symbian^3,or call it whatever you want but this is definitely a rubbish review for clouding the truth of how laggy & immature symbian^3 is,don't give defensive opinion for that kind of lag in a phone from the biggest cellphone manufacture in the world..!!!

                                      their are lots of great symbian forums. U can requst their for helox2.03 signed version. They will give u this hack kit for free!!!
                                      Helox just takes 1minute to hack ur symbian phone :)
