I have 2 other questions about IPhone 4, I know I can Google for answers but, can I play Adobe Flash 10.1 within the browser on a jailbroken phone and can I use a normal SIM-card because I do not want to sign up for 24 months when I already have a good cheap unlimited dataplan?

I'm just a feature phone owner. Not a smartphone. My cellphone support's only jar files. I mostly use getjar to get apps. in Getjar they have more than 5 thousands apps. How many apps have you tried so far? 50, 100 highest 500? Isn't that enough? so why are quarreling? Just ask yourself. You'll get the answer. 300000 apps! Does that make any sense really? I can do almost everything(mail checking, web surfing, bluetooth chat, ebook reader, pdf reader, microsoft office file reader, dictionary, for taking sticky notes, for chatting and what else you need more) i want to do with my featurephone with only limited 5 thousands+ choices.

TC, 17 Oct 2010I need to use my phone as a masstorage and connect to any c... moreyes it is possible - just jailbreak the iphone (a far simpler task than installing a cooked ROM on an android phone) & then cydia has plenty of apps that enable the phone to be used as a mass storage device.
An unjailbroken iphone can be used as mass storage with an app but you can then only see the files when you plug into another pc so good for transferring files between PCs but not the best solution so jailbreaking is the best option & gives the iphone so much more functionality anyway. Just google it & you can have the phone jailbroken in less than 5 mins & it won't affect normal use with itunes either..

With the various phones I've had I've used Android Marketplace, Windows Market, Ovi store & Appstore. & I can tell you that the Appstore is far and away the best of the bunch. Windows - too few quality apps & way, way too expensive. Android - lots of free apps but so much dross & the equivalent decent apps are up to 5 times the price of the appstore (hungry sharks - £2.49 in android, 59p in appstore), Ovi store - again, too few apps.
Search function & sorting/categorising apps is better in appstore too. & where people think that the appstore is just full of fart apps... well they obviously haven't seen the appstore - so much choice & because of apple's quality control, the quality is way better than the vast majority of android apps.
I've heard good things about the quality of blackberry & palm apps but I've never tried them so can't/won't comment (unlike half of the ill educated, over opinionated buffoons on this forum..).

Apple App Store has many many FRAUD apps.
Apple has no provision to refund the money if you get trapped.
Sadly to say Apple is part of this game. I am victim of such app traps.
Having said that App store also has many outstanding apps and deserve the accolades. Hope Apple will feel responsible and improve the situation. Some day!!!

So in that case u can easily sell iPhone 4 on quite good prices and get another phone easily but such is not the case with SGS as brand value means alot. My advice in this case would be get an iPhone 4 and sell it on eBay month before iPhone 5 comes. You will be able to sell it around 600 $ or +/- 50 $.
My personal experience. So Brand value comes handy here

But if u r style oriented person and affording and u r the one who do lots of email website surfing taking pics and into games and Apps , then iPhone 4 is your thing.
And about the pricing , iPhone 4 is expensive than SGS but ever given it a logical thought why ?
Cuz it's a premium product , style and status statement plus the services it offers. Always updated. Every time u bongo App store there will be something that will attract u as there will be new things that will be updated.
So it's you and ur personality and budget. Go for the one that suits u but in any case , you will be satisfied with any 1 of these purchases for atleast an year or more.

Is there a reason people buy iphone 4 over Galaxy S? I mean here in the UK the galaxy S is free on contract but for iphone 4 I need to pay around £180 for the phone on a normal £35 contract 24 months. They are both pretty much the same phone looking on GSM.

I own iPhone 4 and SGS at the same time. But here is the thing , despite the brilliant screen of my SGS , reading on iPhone 4 is insane cuz of iPhone 4 Hi resolution Retina display. The words are crystal clear and same goes with websites pictures games movies. Plus I have all books and apps on iPhone 4 which I can't find on SGS. I like SGS contact management and social network integration which I think is the best but at the same time the built quality and aesthetic just don't match to iPhone 4 when u hold them in ur hand and compare it. Then via Cydia I came across huge collection of themes icons plugins and stuff that Its absolutely amazing what u can do with iPhone.
So over all I am more in favor of iPhone 4 than my Samsung Galaxy S ( which I personally believe is the best and most powerful Android u can get. I upgraded it to Android 2.2 and it's simply a joy. I wished it had better build quality and Apps then I would be confused between iPhone 4 and SGS , thinking which 1 is better. But as now I and my friends like iPhone 4 more as over all package ).

Symbian is shit. If Nokia continues with it, it will be placed last in the smartphone market. However, the best of Nokia (Camera, multi-media) and the best of iPhone will give the best mobile. It is something no manufacturer would like to produce!!

[deleted post]That's subjective then. U can get whatever app u want on iPhone than on Nokia or Android. Just look up the videos of the Apps that I mentioned and then compare it to any other platform. U will find it much more elegant fluid and functional. Am not an Apple fan but what iPhone does is , it does better than any other phone. I want Flash on iPhone but it's not there. That's my only complaint.
For example , am a Doctor and my all medical books softwares and ECG x-rays r on App Store. Same goes with games music movies social networking. And a fraction of it is available on other platforms and of very low quality. Forexample , show me something that beat PULSE ( available on android as well ) or Awesome Notes on iPhone. Cuz there is nothing available on other platforms.
Developers are profiting huge even by selling top quality games that initially start as 9.99$ and with in some time goes to .99$ thus catering to wide budget audience. Developers are giving there best to iPhone than to Nokia Palm or blackberry. I want that to change for once , but I see apps exploding on iOS devices more than any other plat form.
And u say that I like these apps , not necessary that other will like. Dude that I gave as an example , cuz some 1 will like one while other will like other App but atleast they have the choice on iPhone than on Nokia or android or blackberry or windows mobile ( am quite hopeful that WM 7 will do very good as I think it's the best OS I seen so far).
