Anonymous, 17 Oct 2010Ok, 60 000 books? I have 2-3000 books in pdf and txt on my ... morePDF are documents. Books are like in individual software Lay out form.
And by the way , I had Nokia N97 for 10 days before I sold it for less than half price of it.
Reading on Nokia N97. R u kidding me. I could't even scroll smoothly and what about text reflow and down right pathetic screen resolution for which 3 times the time of u is spent in zooming in and out and dealing with the lag.
Take a friends iPhone 4 and then compare it to ur Nokia N97 to get the answer.

Ok guys no offense, I'm a nokia fan as well. But symbian apps sucks big time compared to the apple android or even wm store! So please let's be reasonable OK?

I mean yes symbian has a lot of basic stuff that iphone-android os lacks, but when it comes to app, symbian was never impressive as the others.

                    Fact is fact!

People keep ranting there aren't no apps for symbian but still, i am yet to think of an app that isn't available for the symbian platform. With symbian, you can do anything. What is lacking, really, is games. No one needs thousands of apps. But games. Hmmm. Install, play, get bored, remove, download another one. I've played about every game available on the symbian platform and java games have the crappiest graphics imaginable. Also, since prior to symbian^3, symbian didn't support graphics acceleration, the quality of graphics in symbian games was no where near iphone standards. I remember playing fifa09 on an iphone 3gs and going, wow. I believe we'ld be seeing some kick as games soon though. Angry birds was a treat.
This is not to say i still don't think of the iphone as a piece of trash though. Especially considering the price tag. Wtf. I'ld get myself a psp and a real smartphone. Ios as result of design lacks the capability to support certain essential utilities. I still don't see a vpn client for example for ios. Heck my 2003 model 6630 has one.

One also has to consider that there figures might include repeated titles for different i devices.

And half of those applications are garbage lool, like seriously, who wants a picture of a gun, and you click to pull the trigger. Don't be fooled by the amount of application that are available
