Hlev, 02 Sep 2016If this was iphone we would never hear the end of it....well Samsung and Apple are the most expensive phone makers so that's obvious
especially for Samsung since there are just plenty substitutes in android for much less price
people are not just paying for their product, paying for customer service / reliability as well

If you want a big screen smarti you can buy the glorious Xperia XA ultra you may need to use a pencil instead of a pen in note 7 but at least it won't blast in your face

good move before a class action lawsuit falls on their laps which will cost at "least" similar to an amount of no sales at all of the device and the priceless reputation.

AnonD-59657, 02 Sep 2016Samsung did the right thing to recall all the Note 7.Don't you think they rush too much to sell before they test it themselves? Or they knew it will blast and they didn't want to put their own life in jeopardy

Anonymous, 02 Sep 2016the blame is 100% on Samsung, they use the cheapest makers ... moreLOL. So basically in terms of popularity? Use your brain mate, the more phones there are, the more that would have problems in absolute terms. That doesn't say anything about quality.

AnonD-442781, 02 Sep 2016That may not be true. The battery is made by third parties,... morethe blame is 100% on Samsung, they use the cheapest makers for batteries.
i work in the mobile repair industry, i can say that Samsung are the worst for exploded batteries (since S4), then Apple(until the 6/6S).. the rest have practically none, and when they do its due to customer misuse (like liquid).

Basically the phone could not make or receive calls properly due to poor reception. Apple's response was to tell customers they were not holding it correctly. I don't know what the eventual outcome of it all was.
